But you don’t like Ronaldo so can’t see that being much beyond bias.I do not believe this to be true.

Don’t take mine or anyone else’s word for it on here but Pep clearly disagreed with you. He was desperate to get Ronaldo and thought it was done. I just don’t see how anything we’ve seen this season suggest that’s Ronaldo couldn’t play in that City team and absolutely bang in goals.Thats utter bullshit. I love Ronaldo. Soon as he gets analysed then people think I don't like him
Honestly no offence but if you think Ronaldo as a central striker works in a Pep team that plays in such a way that does not revolve around just creating chance for a striker (and can actually play the whole game without a striker regulary) then that says alot about how you view or understand Pep's Football.
I mean they were literally linked to Kane and apparently Ronaldo would be killing it at City instead.
Anyway, my football understanding can be shit so don't take my word for anything.
Take care.
Love you Ronaldo!

So, Ronaldo’s last game at Old Trafford tonight then?

If you believe the garbage spouted in rags like The Mirror or The Sun... because we know they get ALL the exclusives and talk nothing but the truthSo, Ronaldo’s last game at Old Trafford tonight then?
Yep, been the one nostalgic highlight, hoping to see him next season (rotating with a younger striker to keep him fresh).Doubt it.
But either way it's been great having him this year. Pretty much the only thing this season has been notable for.
We'd be stupid to lose Ronaldo this summer.
We will need him next season

I don't think we'll have a choice. Though, the non Europe thing might be to Ronaldo's advantage. Less games to prolong his career since he will have to play Qatar as well.
Yeah I wouldnt mind someone young who knows in 12 months Ronaldo will be gone, and if he impresses the number 9 position is theirs.Someone like DCL could be a decent bet.
A hard working type who won't necessarily expect to start every game, with Ronaldo still being the main man.
He might be licking his lips at the prospect of Europa though. Crapper teams, more chance of goals!
Let's face it, Europa is a mickey mouse cup. Any goals he gets there won't matter and he knows it. If he was greedy for any goals he would have gone to MLS or Ligue1. Ronaldo is greedy, but greedy for quality accolades.
Keep an eye on his reactions after the game ends, could be sign of whether he's staying or not.
I can't wait to see who this replacement player is.I'll stand by whatever Ten Hag decided but if he isn't a good fit there's no good reason to keep a player for an extra year. It's not the kind of football where the striker can have a different set of tactics from every one else.
The real problem is Rashford has no business succeeding him but that's why we're reportedly looking for a striker and that's why it might be best to part ways with CR. No worthwhile striker is signing to play the odd cup game. Ronaldo will still expect to play once a week. Stylistically I also don't think ETH actually plays with his type, Ajax seem to have their striker spending a lot of time in front of the CBs with their back to goal, with a lot of gravitating towards the ball rather than running in behind. If ETH has no plans for him we are risking a potentially tense situation in next year's lockerroom.
I stand by what I said. He can score 35 goals a season easy.
He does not look or play like a 37 year old.
Thought this myself.Looks quite emotional at the end of this. Is he off?
I hope soLooks quite emotional at the end of this. Is he off?
He pointed at the turf when he scored his penalty intimating he’s here to stay.Looks quite emotional at the end of this. Is he off?
