That's the best series of all time to be honest. Every series looks average compared to that.
I actually enjoyed the last ashes. It was great watching someone like Johnson running in and bowling like a maniac.

The only change could be that they bring in Akshar Patel in place of Jadeja, although I'd argue that Ashwin is the one who place should be in doubt as jadeja is a pretty good limited overs player.
Ashes is shit. It's the dullest team in international cricket vs the most dislikeable set of twats. There's no winning there.
We probably would have beaten South Africa as well although they had an awesome team as well.
By domination, I meant on the level of Australia. If you look at that pakistani team we had talent everywhere, from the openers to a strong middle order, the lower order was extremely destructive and second best bowling attack in the world. Compared that to our current team and its a joke but the inconsistencies are still the same.
I think Australia defeated Sri Lanka in 07 as well, three straight world cups wins against Asia's giants. Kinda weird coincidence.

Along with MJ's Bulls that Australian team has to be the most dominant in the history of sports. No one beat them. Even Barca got beat by Inter and Chelsea in the CL; and Jose overcame them in the league.
It's tough for Indian and Pakistani teams to have unchallenged domination because of all the extras that is generally involved with our sports, and our culture in general.

The last one was an aberration. Even there, I enjoyed watching Johnson's bowling in the last Ashes. The one before that was closer than the 3-0 suggested. Australia got unlucky with the rain in some and England got lucky in some matches.
I don't find it as boring as watching India get rolled over 4-0 when we tour away.
