It was the Umpire who reviewed it. There's no way they could review decisions based on non striker.
What a pointless innings by Kamran Akmal.
But would the umpire have gone upstairs without the non-striker contesting?

On that no-ball, did the umpire signal for the first one, that it was one for the over?
Fantastic knock from Malik, what a shot to win it.

Is it me or does he play his best against India?
No, you can bowl one ball in an over which is higher than the shoulder, but if it's higher than the head, it's called a wide(or a no-ball, not sure). And the second one over the shoulder is a no ball.I think you are allowed to ball one ball per over that is higher than the waist but its a no if its higher than the shoulder(head?).
Why is this tour so short though? Two t-20s and three odis doesnt feel like a proper series.

What i'm asking is whether the umpire signalled after the first one over the shoulder, that it was over the shoulder, and that Ishant couldn't bowl another one over the shoulder.

It's not just you. He's rubbish!
His day
He does have a good record against India, remember him getting almost 150 against them in ODIs. Can go either way with him though, today he was fantastic but the next game he might be out for 5 runs off 20 overs.
Good interview
What did he say?
If he didn't indicate that it was one for the over, he can't give the other ball a no-ball, it was his fault for the first one.I don't recall anything being shown to indicate that.
I think if it's over the head, it's called a wide. And as the batsman had touched the ball, it can't be called a wide. Therefore it could only be called no-ball for being the second ball over the shoulder in an over.Thanks...had forgotten the rule as heard it such a long time ago.
Ishant one was over his head though as he was jumping when trying to play that shot.
No need for a warning if the ball is over your head. It's a noball.
Nope...am pretty sure its a no ball for height. remember a discussion when the free hit rule came that its only no for front foot/back foot shots. If he didn't indicate that it was one for the over, he can't give the other ball a no-ball, it was his fault for the first one.

Correct me if i'm wrong.
Why the feck was Jadeja playing as a 4th bowler? Idiotic team selection. Ashwin should have played.

Dhoni's genius, as usual.
Do we know it was MS's choice to replace Ashwin? There are also selectors, and a coach who has a say in these matters. Fans are so fickle - During MS' reign as captain India has won the limited overs World cup, 20/20 World cup, and were the number test team. Give the guy a break, and some respect.
Dew is playing a big factor. Whoever won the toss has won the last three T20 games.
There is that factor. 20/20 games are a circus, and luck plays a major part in how games are concluded.
