Ronaldo's ego
Incorrectly predicted the 2020 US Election
Southampton is traditionally one of the more spin friendly pitches in England, India bat well first innings and they’ll be set well.
Pujara getting off the mark:
Over or under 50 balls?
Unders win!
Done in style too!Unders win!
Strange from umpire. No onfield decision?
What happens if this match (inevitably) ends up as a draw because of the shite weather?
I'll take 250 right now. Will be competitive. What would you folks say is a par score for this pitch?
With the overcast, swinging conditions, I feel it's about 200-250.
That's so shite
What happens if this match (inevitably) ends up as a draw because of the shite weather?
should be down to boundary count IMO
Or they could just make the test timeless. If they're going to hold it in England they need to account for the weather. It is, especially when the weather/bad light is likely going to prevent a result.
Personally, I think it should be a 3-game series to decide the winner. A one off final is fine for limited overs cricket, but Test cricket should be contested over multiple games.
Yeah this.Draw here would be anticlimactic. They need to find a way to get a winner especially if they're set on hosting the finals in England with the shite weather
Apart from the logistical problems I think a timeless test would just be too different a contest. I don't think the best test team and the best team in a timeless format are necessarily the same team.Or they could just make the test timeless. If they're going to hold it in England they need to account for the weather.
