I think his form dropped together with Sunderland's constant defeat .. After his that single England appearance, he seems to have drifted away from all the hype on him..

i rarely watch pastore,so cannot comment much on him.
sneijder is a dream signing. doubt fergei will go for him, although if we sign him then it would great.
modric is probably the best option to replace scholes in our midfield. premiership proven and he could perhaps become a much better player with us.
i hope we can conclude a deal for de gea as soon as possible. certainly cannot wait until the end or the u-21 euros enough..
we could end up without 5 or 6 of our players from this season so i guess it will be a very interesting and mental summer for all the fans.

Because instead of reading the hype people have started watching him play a bit more, and have come to realise hes a bit, well no hes very average.

Reckon this will force Fergie's hand regarding the midfield. He believed in them post 09 but it's clear after lat night that it's a weakness of ours. It's fine for the league but not for teams of Barca's caliber. You can see what the CL means to him. He has a burning desire to win it again.

Forget De Rossi and Sneijder. They are yesterday's solution. We need to look in to the future and search for new upcoming stars.
We should continue our philosophy and search for young raw talents rather then expensive "flavor of the year".
Yesterday's loss hurts. We met a better team and at the moment we can't compete with them. Messi, Xavi and Iniesta is to good and there are no players out there to buy who will change that fact. But maybe in two tree years it's time for us (and other teams).
I prefer us to invest in the best young talent out there instead of buying expensive stars.

So do I but We need solutions for now though. Barca will just get better and better. We need to close the gap in the short term as we teach our youth the Barca way of play.
We need leaders in CM who can inspire our team and act as a beacon for the next generation. Giggs and Scholes had quality players and leaders like Keane to guide them up and not some average central midfielder or promising kid.
I'd rather De Rossi than Sneijder, perhaps someone like M'Vila as well.
