I imagine the football fans are concerned about football all around the he world. I don't get this line of thinking that nobody should even think about how football because there's a pandemic. Football is important to a lot of people, there's not a lot of harm done in speculating how and or will the season finish or even in hoping that it will.
I'm not talking about being concerned about football, I've made posts here regarding United and the possible future, I am asking if other countries are as obssessed as our media and would be champions are when it comes to finishing this season at all costs.
Some have mentioned it already, but I will repeat it.
the Bundesliga would complete the season even if they cant start to play before June.
La Liga eyes the middle of May as a possible restart day. In Germany the clubs need the tv money from this season, hence they will try to complete the season. But they are not expecting any spectators in 2020.
La Liga must be crazy given the state their country is in, and I get the whole clubs need money from tV deals stuff, but surely there is some logic that has to come into play, this thing is getting worse, not better, look at the re-spike in Asia after they thought they could just go back to business as usual.
If the idea is to play games behind closed doors and televise them then that's ludicrous, for starters all of the players and staff are in danger as the clubs have to train before they play, so much close contact in large numbers any time within the next six months is needlessly risky, and then you can add to the fact that football fans are by and large stupid and selfish, just look at the PSG/Drotmund game a few weeks ago, it was played behind closed doors but the stadium was surrounded by thousands of fans setting fireworks off, same is going to happen if any of these games go ahead, especially for any club with something to play for, and that inclcludes my own club who have plenty left to play for.
Ask Belarus.
Australia still haven't postponed their season yet despite more cases there.
Will actually be interested to see how Bundesliga decide on things in next few months given Germany is least hit of the major leagues as we speak. Think premier league will take their lead from what they do.
Belarus?
Bundesliga shouldn't be an influence to anything, the football governing body as a whole should come to a unanimous desicion, it's pointless one league finishing and others can't, which is almost certain to be the case as this thing spreads.
