Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather | Again?

So is there anyone who actually predicts McGregor to win this??

I'm not predicting he'll win, but I have a 'funny feeling' about the fight in general. I have a feeling that there will be some sort of 'incident' to the outcome, like perhaps a DQ or something contentious, like an elbow leading to a bad cut... or maybe, maybe a Mcgregor TKO.

The World is just too topsy-turvy for this not to be weird in some way. Donald fecking Trump is President of the USA, Foxes won the PL, you can just feel this one going in the same drawer.

edit* I hope Floyd wins btw, Love the guy.

Yeah, i mean i'm not particularly a fighting fan, but i would love to see McGregor win just for the chaos. Floyd winning is just too boring.

So is this likely to start at around 4AM in the UK?

I'm watching the prelims now and the 'main event' is due to start about 2, so I'd say there's no chance we'll be seeing Mayweather & McGregor in the ring before 4.30/5am.

Think I'll be heading the bed and watch the rerun at 10am. Nothing worse than staying up all night for a fight that's over in 2 minutes.

I feel exactly the same mate.

With this in mind I was thinking about setting the alarm for 4am, but I don't really want to end up feeling knackered for the rest of the day for a fight that only lasts one round.

The 10am replay is looking more and more appealing.

Has somebody already mentioned that the venue is practically empty for the first fights? Vast difference from Europe.

Its Vegas. People usually do other things in the evening and only show up en masse for the later fights. It isn't even dinner time yet here.

It's often like this for prelims in MMA too in the states

Not sure why fans of a sport who have paid for tickets don't want to watch the whole card

You guys have shelled out for the PPV access or are you watching by stream?

Fecking £50 on PPV here in Norway, no way am I paying that.

Right, but I would have guessed some people are there for the boxing exclusively and are actually going to see the fights, but from TV looks like only the referees and participant teams are only people in the hall.

Primarily cos most who can afford to get in aren't fussed about them...

They've enough doh to only get in for the main shoh, yo.

Like I said in my previous post it's like this for most MMA shows too. Tickets for them wouldn't be extortionate like tonight's

Do you mean in US or as a whole? What I've seen from the Saureland boxing events the hall appears full even for the warm up.

My smart TV doesn't have the Eleven Sports app and can't download Adobe to run it via browser. Now I have to connect my laptop with the tv via HDMI and it lags very slightly every few seconds, very annoying.

If it's something you really wants to watch €20 really isnat a big stretch to watch it legally, surely?

Particularly with the first of the prelims going 10 fecking rounds.

If this keeps up we may get to see Mayweather McGregor live at 10am!

Get yourself an IPtv app and subscription from somewhere ffs!

I have all the UK, US and European satellite, PPV and cable channels, and a massive video on demand library bought on eBay for €30 a year.

Would love to see McGregor do it but he's no chance. His left hand may be deadly but he simply isn't a boxer. Mayweather will school him.
