Conor Gallagher | Atlético Player

I think he'll prove a better player than he's given credit for in a proper team working with a proper coach. He's got the proper mentality too. I like him.

For the Chelsea fan who are sad about him leaving - is that because he’s been with you forever and homegrown? He’s so average otherwise.

It's because he's a local kid from a family of fans who worked his way into the side despite all the insane spending. He basically was living the life most fans dreamt of when they were 10.

Yes it's sentimental but that's football.

And I don't agree he's "so average" If I thought he sucked it would be less annoying.

Have they got a decent fee though? They've immediately been forced to splurge on Felix as part of the deal.
Agreed, that Felix is an odd and probably poor signing money-wise. If these are treated as separate transfers the fee for Gallagher is impressive all the same.

Yeah, I like him too. He has his limitations but was a big part of Chelsea’s strong finish to last season. He sucked at the Euros but so did most England players. That’s not really on him. He could definitely be an asset for a manager who knows how to use him.

That’s insane. Perhaps the most grandiose player presentation of all time - I don’t even feel like that’s an exaggeration.

For Conor fecking Gallagher of all players.
That video is clipped - this wasn't solely for Gallagher; they were introducing all their summer signings

A thread watch for such a player ? Is that needed ?

It was created as a bit of a hate thread during the euros because someone was fed up of watching him get selected before Mainoo ;)

In the future some internet battle between kids will reference this presentation as proof that Gallagher was better than Modric, who had like 20 people turn out to see and ‘no motorbikes’.

Director constantly panned the camera at him on the bench for the first 55 minutes. Got a louder cheer when he came on than their two goals earlier. Never seen this much hype for such a painfully bland player.

Probably because he's blond with blue eyes, and came from one of the biggest clubs in the best league on planet Earth.

I personally think he's a good player and wouldn't mind United to pay that Chelsea fee.
