It's Piers Morgan. Anyone found agreeing with our quoting him already has serious issues in life.

You can't really use the EL to compare because you have to be 2nd tier to qualify for it in the first place. For instance would we prefer a season where we won the EL, or won no trophies but were CL runners up?In the terms of trophies won what was better?
Liverpool who won a league Cup and FA Cup this season or In 2017 under Jose United won the league Cup and Europa league.
So the FA cup isn't a major trophy?A broken clock is right twice a day.
So the FA cup isn't a major trophy?
Thats not what Piers said. Not in the context of a quadruple. Liverpool fans would have classed the Premier League and the Champions league as the major trophies. Only when they lose both does the narrative shift.
Liverpool. To be fair, it's not Klopp or the player's fault that
a) the media were going on about the quadruple when the league wasn't even in their hands
b) their fans were acting like they'd already won the final (god knows why)
I don't know who picked today for a parade though
Thats not what Piers said.
Anyway, the FA cup is a major trophy, and Liverpool have therefore more than Arsenal this season by that count.
In club football, everyone bar the champions are losers to different extend. There is no B, C passing grade on general consensus. The true second best may be eliminated in earlier round, and the loser in final is not necessary second best team even. Best team in the world shouldn't lose these 2 big competitions like that. Its like laughing at someone for getting a B whilst we are holding an F.
They are bringing the woman's team along with them, they won the championship league,I might even tune in for their trophy parade tomorrow.
They have probably booked Richard Arlison to drive the bus.So what times the parade?
So what times the parade?
They have probably booked Richard Arlison to drive the bus.
It is actually at 4pm today . You can’t make it up
Also congratulations to one of the 2 biggest clubs in the country for winning their domestic league title once in the past 32 seasons. A truly remarkable achievement.
This remains the only time that the Premier League trophy has been paraded in-front of fans at Anfield:

Very laughable considering the arrogance.
Might have been true before digital clocks were producedA broken clock is right twice a day.
There is time for our own woe. I don't think it's any bit cringe at the moment. Everyone, even from tram with no success for decades can't help but laugh at them and their deluded claim.Don't get me wrong I am laughing at them, from a quadruple to a domestic couple double is hilarious. The fact that we haven't won feck all in 6 years makes me cringe a bit.

Technically they left no one down last night . Nobody bar themselves wanted them to win"
MARTIN SAMUEL: Jurgen Klopp's ability to find the right words is why he's probably the best manager in the world right now... this Liverpool team is forged from his principles and intelligence and - like their boss - they rarely let anyone down
"
This headline was before the match, 'they rarely let anyone down'. English journalists should pipe down a bit. Praise after the win, not before.
Absolutely NOT!!!! The vile songs that they sing about Munich, I hope they are absolutely distraught!!!!!I know all about the bitter rivalry you lot have with Liverpool but come on, have you no compassion?
I feel a bit sorry for any losing finalists, however otherwise you might dislike them.
For the love of God, can you not find a shred of decent human sympathy?
Fair point but let's look at the value of the trophies won.You can't really use the EL to compare because you have to be 2nd tier to qualify for it in the first place. For instance would we prefer a season where we won the EL, or won no trophies but were CL runners up?
Mad. The one they won in 32 years no Liverpool supporters in attendance. Also congratulations to one of the 2 biggest clubs in the country for winning their domestic league title once in the past 32 seasons. A truly remarkable achievement.

Treblegon too.
Numpty Dumpty sat on a wall.I had forgotten how good at feels to laugh at these LFC numptys, Best EPL team ever , not even the best this season.
Is that the OX pulling the bus? One way to show him off to try and sell him.
Live from downtown Liverpool
Not sure about taking bait, I am just quoting the post that claimed he was correct. He wasnt.I would presume that is the context of what he was meaning in a comparison to Arsenal.
It’s not difficult to work out, or understand what he was trying to achieve by goading Liverpool fans. It appears most have taken the bait.
Well, I was assigned commentary duty for city v villa and got to enjoy that Liverpool heartbreak. I was then lucky enough to get assigned last night champions league final and I got to savour it all over again.
It's been a pretty good 6 days
EDIT: In fact, if anybody wants to buy a copy of the commentary for whatever reason. Let me know and we can work out a price
