Complete Mental Obliteration V2

Shipwrecked Tb.

The word 'Wrecked' comes from the greek word wrecve, which translates to "Totally fecked, smashed to bits"

Since my ship is totally destroyed , i'll have to prepare myself for surviving the island.
First of all i will scout the island, identify myself with the island like with flora and fauna in as much detail as possible.

I'd try to find some wood for a fire, of course, as well as materials with which to make a temporary shelter.
Then will look for the food sources like fruits coconut and after that i'll also use fish as food.I will try to setup fire via rubbing woods onto a very dry wood.
Since fish are hard to get i may try to survive on reptiles and other things found there.I'll prepare one spear of wood for hunting whatever i can found like these reptiles.
For water I would use the plants on the island; you can drink water from trees etc because they transpire, and also find a method of collecting rainwater, plus will find a stream(if i could) in case other two methods aren't feasible.
Since i don't know how to make a ship or boat i won't try to make that.
Instead i'll find a material which produces heavy smoke and will try to keep a beacon going as often as possible. And I will wait for the rescue. I am sure due to smoke someone will notice.
I won't get lost in the middle of the island because of that compass.

TheBest wins this round.

How would you make a shelter? How would you defend yourself at night / when you sleep?
How could you make a spear without a knife? Otherwise, a pretty ok answer I guess

Edit, never mind about the compass, I found it, I would totally suck at this game.

Also, identifying himself to the flora and fauna.....is this some kind of rape scenario again? This time involving the islands plants and animals instead of Obama's daughter

Using woods and root\vines you can make a temporary shelter.

Spears can be made using stones which would be there in abundance.

Making spears with stones? How are you supposed to go into the wild to gather vines and wood without risking to be killed by wild animals?

i will explain all tomorrow its 3 am here
I am going for sleep
Good night

I don't know which is more bullshit, Laim lifting a question from the first CMO or TheBest for basically giving Obstacles answer.

You are stranded on a deserted island. Run us through your detailed plan for survival. Plan your answer, its worth extra points.

My plan for survival....

First of all, scout the island, identify myself with the flora and fauna in as much detail as possible. It's necessary to note that not every island in the world actually has coconuts readily available (sorry Dewey) and that a lot of islands don't have running water.

I'd try to find some wood for a fire, of course, as well as materials with which to make a rudimentary shelter. That's right, I wouldn't just make a bed of leaves and rocks (rocks?!?!!?!?!) and sleep outside.

Food is the hardest bit, fish seems the most readily available and consistent food source, but they would be hard to catch. Whilst I trained myself at fishing and crafted a decent rod or spear I think I could survive on beetles and lizards, and fruit.

For water I would use the plants on the island; you can drink water from trees etc because they transpire, and also find a method of collecting rainwater.
Both these sources would give me pure water, the plants would also give me some sugar. If it was very humid I reckon I could find a way to harvest condensation, too.

Being a perceptive person, I believe I'd have some sort of idea as to my rough location. If I was in the middle of the Atlantic, obviously there's not much you can do except find a material on the island that when burned produces heavy smoke and try to keep a beacon going as often as possible. so 'wait for rescue' is the only way to go.

If I thought I was near land, I could crudely judge the direction of shore using the sun as a compass, and I would craft a boat from wood and head in that direction. I would take adequate supplies of water as well as fruits (like coconuts) that can last several months. And my rod of course. I could probably get enough moisture from fish and fruit to last a week of journying, which should hopefully get me home.

I knew this all sounded too familiar, the transpire bit was the give away, the feck did TB know what transpire means.

 TheBest actually did SOME research compared to Liam though! To think that he spent the entire day coming up with an answer which was 50% based on a copy-paste..

I would say that TheBest cheated on this question because he only got anywhere near the answer due to the clever bod that is Obstacle...

however, at the same time it was Liam's fault for picking a really typical question that was in fact used in the preceding CMO!! Liam's answer was awful, due to the incredibly selected question by TB from the internet :p

I think there's no way back for Liam now, unfortunately he's been played off the park by quality opposition. Totally lacked any creativity in the middle of the park, where as TB has oozed arrogance and distaste. For that, you may take a boow son.

 Transpire.

You went mental when someone said you used the word chaps, as you weren't familiar, how did you think your answer would get through undetected?

It's like we are teachers here, dealing with retarded kids answers and plagiarism.

Yep. Considering they both just got a bollocking for disrespecting the competition you'd think they'd be smarter about it.

Wait, Liams question was mentioned in the last game?

Yeah, but Liam had his worded in a lot more depth. I don't think Liam specifically went looking in the last CMO thread for inspiration (he might have done though), being stranded/shipwrecked on a deserted island is a pretty common question anyway.

Wait, Liams question was mentioned in the last game?

Not exactly, but the idea came from there, and like I said, it isn't original.

Yes, the desert island thing is common, I didn't actually look at the thread, but that's where the idea came from.
I'd like to play soon!

You should play the Albanian, it'll be legendary.

Just what was Liam thinking before agreeing to take part in this mental obliteration contest. Looking at TB's antics in other thread he probably thought he just has to turn up and he will win.

Its not at all gone according to his plans.

First i agree i didn't know much about transpire

But I didn't do any research.I took only 25 minutes to give this answer.I read CMO1 just 4 5 days ago so i knew there was 1 question similar to this one.So i opened it edited little bit and gave the answer

I'm not penalising you, I didn't say answers or questions had to be original, and given neither of your asked original questions, I can't complain about the answers. That said, you're an idiot. Why copy and paste a whole sentence that we know is physically impossible for you to come up with?

I knew someone will notice it.So i edited only to make it better plan and avoided those points for which obstacle got stick.
So i wasn't trying to prove that its original because he asked one unoriginal answer so i thought i have the right to give one copy paste answer as well

So if you didn't think we would notice, you would have copied the entire answer?

Yet, even though your question was also sensitive in the sense that anyone could copy and paste an answer, you specifically said he must answer within 30 minutes or he could cheat and steal the answer from elsewhere.

You don't have that right, given you made it clear he has restrictions on his answer for the very same reason.

So if you didn't think we would notice, you would have copied the entire answer?
Yup obviously there was just so much similarity like the LW highlighted
although he forgot highlighting smoke point
Where i said i'll find a material which produces heavy smoke

Your answer wasn't your answer, it's as simple as that, and given the chance, you would have just copied his entire answer if you didn't think we would have noticed. That is not the aim of this game.

You don't have that right, given you made it clear he has restrictions on his answer for the very same reason.
That question had one answer so he would have found the answer from google or from some friend
where as the question he asked didn't have one direct answer it was all subjective.

I wouldn't have been able to cheat unless he is stupid enough to ask the same question from the previous version of the game we are playing
