anyone???
anyone???
Using woods and root\vines you can make a temporary shelter.TheBest wins this round.
How would you make a shelter? How would you defend yourself at night / when you sleep?
How could you make a spear without a knife? Otherwise, a pretty ok answer I guess
i will explain all tomorrow its 3 am hereMaking spears with stones? How are you supposed to go into the wild to gather vines and wood without risking to be killed by wild animals?
You are stranded on a deserted island. Run us through your detailed plan for survival. Plan your answer, its worth extra points.
My plan for survival....
First of all, scout the island, identify myself with the flora and fauna in as much detail as possible. It's necessary to note that not every island in the world actually has coconuts readily available (sorry Dewey) and that a lot of islands don't have running water.
I'd try to find some wood for a fire, of course, as well as materials with which to make a rudimentary shelter. That's right, I wouldn't just make a bed of leaves and rocks (rocks?!?!!?!?!) and sleep outside.
Food is the hardest bit, fish seems the most readily available and consistent food source, but they would be hard to catch. Whilst I trained myself at fishing and crafted a decent rod or spear I think I could survive on beetles and lizards, and fruit.
For water I would use the plants on the island; you can drink water from trees etc because they transpire, and also find a method of collecting rainwater.
Both these sources would give me pure water, the plants would also give me some sugar. If it was very humid I reckon I could find a way to harvest condensation, too.
Being a perceptive person, I believe I'd have some sort of idea as to my rough location. If I was in the middle of the Atlantic, obviously there's not much you can do except find a material on the island that when burned produces heavy smoke and try to keep a beacon going as often as possible. so 'wait for rescue' is the only way to go.
If I thought I was near land, I could crudely judge the direction of shore using the sun as a compass, and I would craft a boat from wood and head in that direction. I would take adequate supplies of water as well as fruits (like coconuts) that can last several months. And my rod of course. I could probably get enough moisture from fish and fruit to last a week of journying, which should hopefully get me home.
I knew this all sounded too familiar, the transpire bit was the give away, the feck did TB know what transpire means.
Wait, Liams question was mentioned in the last game?
Wait, Liams question was mentioned in the last game?
Yeah, but Liam had his worded in a lot more depth. I don't think Liam specifically went looking in the last CMO thread for inspiration (he might have done though), being stranded/shipwrecked on a deserted island is a pretty common question anyway.
I'd like to play soon!
First i agree i didn't know much about transpireTranspire.
You went mental when someone said you used the word chaps, as you weren't familiar, how did you think your answer would get through undetected?
It's like we are teachers here, dealing with retarded kids answers and plagiarism.
I knew someone will notice it.So i edited only to make it better plan and avoided those points for which obstacle got stick.I'm not penalising you, I didn't say answers or questions had to be original, and given neither of your asked original questions, I can't complain about the answers. That said, you're an idiot. Why copy and paste a whole sentence that we know is physically impossible for you to come up with?
Yup obviously there was just so much similarity like the LW highlightedSo if you didn't think we would notice, you would have copied the entire answer?
That question had one answer so he would have found the answer from google or from some friendYou don't have that right, given you made it clear he has restrictions on his answer for the very same reason.
