Some of my favorite moments

"I had a better look at him... He's not that good looking"

"Dean magazine cancelled. Worst idea for a magazine ever"

"Jeff... Still cool as a zombie"

Rich coming back as a zombie wearing Jeff's jacket

Was sick today and woke up super early because of it so I've been watching the whole season 1. Had never watched it before. Man, those girls. They're not playing "hard to get crush on".

It's got a solid character line up. Even the black mama has her moments even though she's meant to be the "serious" one. It's mainly the way she switches from ghetto voice to nice little hellos.

New episode?

Yep, found out today it was the highest rated show on NBC last night. Ratings were 3.9 million -- which is a shadow of what Friends and Seinfeld got at that timeslot but it's still excellent. Strong sign they will renew for another season.

To be perfectly honest, season 3 hasn't been anywhere near the level of first two seasons. Last nights episode was average at best.

Is it just me, or is "Britta" a really bad actor? She just annoys me on levels that goes beyond her character, which is annoying (atheist and believes in homeopathy, yeah right).

Huge fecking surprise that we agree on this, but obviously the homeopathy line was just so sassy black woman (I forget her name) could do the gay punchline.

But yeah, having her be supposedly super-into things like psychoanalysis, political injustice, atheism, only for her to turn and show some incredible child-like credulity or outright stupidity doesn't really sit well with me... I liked her at first but now she's just hard to reconcile with herself.

This is obviously just a cartoonish show, though... I'm willing to nevermind stuff like that.

No, not like that. It's true that I don't like the character anymore (like Eriku says, they "force" inconsistency on her), but I just don't really think she's a very good actor. Perhaps it's the character she's being forced to play.

The fat black woman (shirley?) is by far the most annoying/pointless character on the show. They could literally take her out of every episode and it wouldn't affect the quality.

Well, she did manage to graduate from Juilliard. I don't see what's wrong with her acting. She also brings 50% of the hotness, 25-33% if you are bisexual, to the show which is important. You don't wanna watch a bunch of uggos.

Just finished season 2 and the birth episode is by far the worst so far. It's like they were focusing all their effort on the double paintball episodes that came shortly after and so they let the least funny person work on that one.

Isn't the whole point of her character that she's not super into anything? That she just goes along with the latest fad and tags onto anything that's "in" at the moment.

She's childlike in everything. Being an atheist or political activist does not suddenly make you smart.

Yes. In the first season they touch that subject quite a lot. She's a joiner.

The last 3 episodes have simply been; not the best,.

This is one of those shows (like Dexter) that I continue to watch, only in a totally joyless fashion. It's my own fault; the two parter paint-ball episode should have been my clue that the writers had stopped caring.

That's the exact moment I gave up actually. Still downloaded the rest of the season I think but just never got around to watching the rest.

It's all subjective I suppose, but what made you laugh in the pillow fort episode? I genuinely cannot remember cracking a smile and I'm not exactly a comedy snob.

Pierce with his mouth full of ink. To be fair though, the episodes since the break (and I suppose more generally, season 3) have been much more character-oriented than aiming for outright humour.

Too much of stuff revolving the dean in the 3rd season so far. I'm not a big fan of his. He's just annoying, not funny.

Quite frankly we need more of Annie's booobs.

Britta is hotter and funnier.

She jumps on band-wagons, sure, but nothing in her personality prepared me for her buying into homeopathy ;P

But she's been gradually made more liable to say whatever... Meh.

Not sure what to make of the Annie v Britta thing... they're both exceedingly hot... But character-wise I'm leaning towards Annie, deffo... even if she's a Jew. White power text.
