yeah im never expecting us to be good at anything.

i didnt even go to my freshman homecoming match against princeton. i went home for the day to watch my highschool team's homecoming match.

columbia are wank at everything, i think i went to two basketball games total for the year. its a bit depressing. supposedly we have a decent fencing team. so we have that going for us, which is nice.
 
you gotta admit, its pretty intense. stabbing someone with a blunt sword the width of a pencil that flops around like a dildo.

very intense indeed.

FLASHie - I was just going to post about that. They were fecking terrible. They looked like us 2-3 years ago. Decent defense with a clueless offense. TCU stacked the line with 8-9 every play and dared them to throw. Both QBs were sorry. My excitement's piqued, I'll tell you that much.
 
the Big 12 is going to go after them now...

the way we rocked them in the OB it's open season on them now...they have some good young talent, but Chuck Long is the worst offensive coordinator around...

there offense is totally 1 dimensional now, and as great as AP is this is what he's going to be seeing every game.

they can't pass the ball, their formations are predictable and their defense sucks now...

I am going to enjoy this :lol:

Yep. SDSU @ Qualcomm. ESPN2 right after your lot. I hate you all with a passion, but I'm looking forward to seeing your first team roll up on the Rainbow Warriors. Get an idea of what we're dealing with. Will alternate between the Trojies and MEX/USA WC Qual. game. Should be a fun couple of hours leading into the Bruin game.
 
BTW, I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances now against OU...and I hate OU, but I find I like Stoops a bit. Long is boring. He was unexciting @ Iowa, with Detroit, and now as a college coach.

Interested to see what Sarkisian and Kiffin come up with and how they work together.

there are alot ofthem in the regular squad rotation, but if all goes well and it's a blowout we'll see all of them play later.

-Patrick Turner is already the #3 receiver.
-Brian Cushing is already the #2 OLB behind Sartz.
-Maualuga should push Oscar Lua out at MLB within a couple of games
-Kyle Moore is the #2 DE
-Averell Spicer is #2 Nose Tackle

the defense is a bit inexpereinced in the front 7, but they are faster then eveer before so that should make up a bit for the lack of experience.

also with Grootegoed gone, Keith Rivers will step up and be the man.

This is a link to the SC station in LA. They don't have the games, but they have USC Insider with Petros Papadakis and Pete Arbogast on Tuesdays @ 10-11pm, your time. Papadakis also has his own show M-F, and he's actually quite entertaining. LA's best all-sports station, as well. But hardly anyone listens to it and it barely registers on the ratings. The Bruins station is the Lakers station...so, not much focus on UCLA, unfortunately.

Ahhh I loved watching TCU beat Oklahomo. I hate how the media feckign talks them up like the best team ever, serves 'em right. And I hate how they paly their fight song ALLL the fecking time, so god damn annoying. TCU about to score the winning touchdown.. Cue the OU band to play the fight song.

I hate USC for that too. Went to see them play the Cougs about 10 years ago in Pullman, sat near the USC band. god damn, same fecking played over and over and over and over. It fills me with rage everytime I hear the song and I just hate USC for it. I will say though, that I hate Oklahomo more, and wanted USC to win the national championship last year. Having said that, I hope they both go 0-11.

It's all about the Eastern Eagles though for me. Division 1-AA baby! We're whoopin up on some team in San Jose tonight. They probably suck. I think we're 4th overall in AA ball. Should win our conference as well. yay. Hope we can get further in the playoffs though. Lost in the quarters to Sam Hosuton due to some very, very dodgy calls by the officials.. booooooooooooo

63-17...we didn't even get the ball till the second qtr and our starters were out by the end of the third qtr.


offense was awesome as usual, but still some big question marks on defense.

mostly that we weren't able to get enough pressure on the QB with only our front 4 the way we could last year and had to blitz alot more...only the first game though and considering it was against the run and shoot it was to be expected.

I don't rage (often), I'm not Canadian, and I'm not much of a nationalist. I think lacrosse is the official national sport but hockey might be as well. Canada doesn't like to make up its mind about much (other than not liking yanks of course which is official government policy). I do like girls in kilts though ;)
