A lot of good games today.

I bet Sam Bradford wish he turned pro now. I surprised he didnt break his collarbone, they are calling it a acromioclavicular joint sprain which cant be good given it is throwing shoulder and there are a feck load of ligaments to get damaged there.

Notre Dame are going to be good this year, I bet NBC is loving that.

I could help you if you need some good picks next time.

Oklahoma #3 have lost to #20 BYU

Just finished watching this game. Great game, but OU were out of it by halftime because Sam Bradford was out with a shoulder injury.

Watching Bama vs. VTech now. I'm a Miami fan, so I can't wait for Monday night. Our QBs are promising so I'm looking forward to this season.

That's alright. I was just in a betting mood at work and wanted to take a break. Next time I'll actually use my own judgment to make bets. I've only lost about $0.40 so far and that includes a US Open bet and a Mexican soccer match. I kinda just wanted to see how good these so called handicappers are at what they do since I had never bet on advice from one of them before.

LOL I watched that game. He should've seen it coming, the dumbass. Glad the guy got suspended though.

Yeah I doubt he would have had the balls to throw the punch if either he didnt have his helmet on or the other guy did.

The embarrassing thing about it for Blount is his NFL stock dropped like mad, and also he went after fans

Miami have some work to do to peg back the Gators, Meyer has been absolutely excellent since going there.

That looked like an INT for Bama to me, although at this point it seems as though the game is over.

Agreed. My dad and I are the only Canes fans in the family, as everyone else is FSU or UF. I was enjoying family get-togethers until around 2002 or so. :smirk:

Yeah it's funny how each of the three have each had dynasties over the past 20 years, probably all have had two in that time.

feckin' hell, great game tonight. Typical Miami/FSU game. What a way to start the season! Go Canes!!!

I need to go jump start my heart now.

The Sam Bradford hit reminded me of the Brady-Haynesworth one. He's lucky the guy was not a 300+ pounder.

Any Miami fans on the CAF ? :)

Hell yes!!!!

Im a seminole fan and totally gutted by the loss. Canes shouldnt gloat though our guy dropped the ball.

You escaped with the victory. Heres hoping we meet again in Tampa!

I'll gloat because it's always something with you guys when you lose! :D Great game though, hopefully that brings the rivalry back into the public eye.

Miami has ruined several seasons for the Noles, I have every reason to be bitter. Having said that I always root for the Canes against everybody else except the noles.

Now the Gators are another story.

#3 USC at #8 OSU tomorrow; Redshirt freshman Matt Barkley to lead the Trojans out as QB should be interesting to see how he copes. OSU werent exactly out of this world in their opener but I think they are probably slight favorites. Hopefully the Trojans win it though.

Ohio State are vastly overrated year after year in every sport it seems. It's getting a bit annoying really. USC to win.

Now I've said this, Ohio State are actually going to be decent for once.

Always hated the Gators, although I've had to be somewhat passive as most of my family are Gator or Noles fans. There's no doubting the Gator talent recently though. But hopefully the U and the Noles can regain their stature.

Great games today! The Michigan vs. ND game was an awesome shootout. I'm glad it lived up to the hype. Both teams looked great, and while not a big fan of either team, I'm glad it looks as though they're on the comeback.

Oklahoma St. getting knocked off bids well for other looking to move up the ranks, and it wasn't really that much of a shocker to me. Their defense was shit in the last quarter and couldn't shut Houston down.

South Carolina vs. Georgia was a another great shootout. Georgia's WR corps looks deadly, and their special teams was unstoppable.

The GT vs. Clemson game was iffy for me. I was looking to see how GT would respond (as Miami plays them next week), and they looked really good in the first half running the spread. But their suspect defense showed up in the 2nd half and Clemson clawed back in it. This is good for Miami. We should handle GT easily.

USC vs. OSU - HELL YES. I really don't like both teams, but I hate OSU with a passion ever since the title game vs Miami. I don't think USC deserves the praise they get because their conference is fecking soft, but oh well, at least they beat OSU.

Not relevant on the national scene but for the FCS, Cal Poly destroyed Sacramento State today 38 - 19. We're ranked 12 right now but maybe this will give us a boost. First game under a new coach and after losing a good number of starters on offense.

Great game from the Canes and Harris last night. Stuffed the option and kept them to 95 yards rushing. We let our foot off the pedal towards the end and allowed 2 crap touchdowns in the 2nd half. Our Offensive Coord, Whipple, has developed an outstanding game plan. Our kicking game left a lot to be desired though.

Bring on VT and OU!

Jacory Harris: 20/25, 270 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INT

Start the Heisman campaign now?

The U is back it looks like...

That Fresno St Boise St game was class last night

Tennessee are in for a butt whooping me thinks

Tennessee

Relying to heavily on daddy's defense. Monte should come back to Tampa where he is loved and revered.

Amazing win for VTech. Washington beats USC.

I'll miss the first half of the Texas vs. TT game because I have to go to a friends dinner party with the wife. Hope FSU can knock off BYU and shake up the standings some more.

 I'm glad the ACC is rebounding from it's opening weekend. It'll help make Miami's bid for a title shot that much stronger after we win the conference. :smirk:

I'll be back in FL for Thanksgiving, so I'm trying to get tickets to either the Duke game in Miami or the USF game in Tampa. USF game will be easier since I live 50 minutes from Tampa.

I'm just excited for when we get into November... 3 ranked games, we win 3 of them, we should get BCS consideration.

I don't remember when UNC football have EVER looked this good.

Yeah I'm surprised how well they are doing. We've been surprised by UNC and Duke once or twice in the last few seasons.

The SEC has regularly beat the crap out of itself throughout the 90s and 00s, and only when a team could gain a foothold in that conference could they compete for the championship. I hate the Gators, but any team that can come out of that conference unscathed deserves their shot. UF and LSU with 2 titles a piece since 2003 I think.

I'd like to see Bama come back to the head of the SEC and just smack the shit out of UF.
