Meh, not too fussed about him. Always saw him similar to Rashford and we sure as hell don't need another like him. If the alternative is Felix then we are fecked though. As good as he is, he really isn't a striker.

If he doesn’t sign for Utd it’s because we didn’t want it - he was desperate for the move - there will be a reason why we didn’t follow through - and I’m not convinced on what I’ve seen recently anyway that is what we need…..for Liverpool, anything has got to be better than that turkey Nunez they bought!

I did speculate a few times that all the claims ETH massively wanted him might have just been paper/agent talk.
I still think that if ten Hag really wanted him for Utd then he'd have been signed.

Not too worried, from what I saw of him he looks talented but similar to what we have already. I think if we’re going for a forward they could do with being stronger and better with their back to goal.

People saying rashford is better than him…he is only 22 and has been putting up better stats than rashford ever has. And for a side struggling to score goals, we could have used him tbh.

This was my biggest concern, but ETH wanted to turn him into a fwd because of his size. It's sad to miss out on him, but as have too many LWF atm and couldn't chance on another lad who's a specialist there.
Rashford has already been pushed out to the RW as Garnacho is playing well at LWF, Sanchooo too decided to make the LWF his best position..
BBut Gakpo's G's & A's have been insane the last year or so, would have been excellent addition to the squad.
