Any of you played the beta?

Played it tonight. Plays very similar to COD4, which can only be a good thing. Lots of perks; including dogs attacks and vehicles online. Impressed so far, will definitely buy it.


Additionally, im amazing at online.
 
Yep I have the BETA (only available on Xbox 360 atm :))

It is amazing!! Love the maps, weapons, vehicles. Got a kill streak of 16 earlier, dogs were killing everyone. :D

Is it back to World War 2?

CoD4's multiplayer was nothing on CoD2 IMO!
 
WW2 is shite, it should have been modern warfare again.

I'll probably still buy it though, as COD4 won't have as many people online when 5 is released.
 
I do like the look of this game....should be good....will be investing in it anyways

My only gripe of sorts coincides with what GE is saying in that what i liked so much about COD 4 is that its set in modern day.

Will reserve judgement though until i actually have a go of it
 
The beta is pretty good, same sort of feel to it as COD4 but with the older weapons obviously. Only three maps on the demo so not that much to try out, and your level is capped at 11 so can't get the better perks.

At level 65 you can unlock the flamethrower, should be a laugh playing with that online. It's great fun running round with a shotgun blowing limbs off, like Soldier of Fortune all over again...
 
Have just started playing COD4 story mode again, if it gets anywhere close to that then I am happy. I would usually chase a beta but I am gonna leave this one for the day, beta kinda spoils the surprise.
 
This game fecking rules! The multiplayer is amazing, I've just been playing it for 3 hours non stop. The maps are much bigger than the ones on COD4. Downfall is my favourite map so far.. it's fecking huge. I haven't played the single player yet. It will probably be shite like COD4 single player.

What are you talking about, COD4 single player although a tad short was incredible.
 
All the shitty WW2 weapons are putting me and my mates off of COD5.
