There’s nothing in thatNow this is much more worrying a prospect than any of the current discussions surrounding any of the potential new owners...

We are being bought out by the Al thani family, the Shiek is a member of that family and they haven't hidden. Maybe he is fronting the bid and has several partners behind the foundation he intends to form to use as a vehicle for the acquisition, only Raine and the Glazers would know.At least Jim is being honest about where the money is coming from. No new debt on the club. Anything borrowed will be on them. We haven't had clarity on the existing debt yet either so hard to judge that.
What we've had from Qatar is clearly attractive as it's got a lot of our fans doing cartwheels dreaming of Mbappe already. However we know for a fact their bid isn't genuine as the guy who is fronting it hasn't got enough money. So why all the cloak and mirrors? Be honest and own it. We are being bought by the state / Royal Family if they get it. Everyone knows it so why continue the charade?
What evidence is there for that? Genuinely curiousIt's academic to an LGBTQ+ supporter who is the victim of it. What's clear is these ownership bids make it worse.
This article was posted by Stretty News the day after the bid was announced. How frequently do you think they gave transphobic opinion columnists slots before the takeover (the answer is zero)? A community isn't just the opinions of it's members, it's which opinions those members feel free to share. What evidence is there for that? Genuinely curious
I’ve been on holiday for a few days. Can somebody please summarise what has happened (if anything) Since Jim and Qatar bid on Friday

Before Friday it was reported, by Shepard I believe, that the royal family intends to bid for the club. Now they have and its a clear distinction between them and the state as far as I am concerned.
How often do you think they had the chance to? In their pre match preview of United v Forest? This article was posted by Stretty News the day after the bid was announced. What's your point? Can't he own Man Utd?
Nothing has happened, save a report indicating that US vulture capitalists Elliott Investment Management are putting together financing that might allow at least some of the Glazers to retain control of the club (no sale). Raine Group have also asked the two public bidders (Ineos and Qatar) to refrain from any further public comments (in particular, saying anything at all that could be perceived as implied criticism of the Glazers).
Where? One of the weirdest takes in this whole discussion is that the fans will all become transphobic or anti-women's rights or start supporting flogging for stealing and adultery and what not, if they support a Qatari take over of a football club of which they are "fans" of.

Because it shows how little they think of the broader football world, be it fans or regulators. They bought a World Cup hosting through corruption, they violated FPP at PSG, and now as a next step they're buying a football club using a frontman to go around multiple club ownership rules. The proper tits in all of this have been the regulators of the sport, but it's embarrassing that fans also welcome it in some instances. At least Jim is being honest about where the money is coming from. No new debt on the club. Anything borrowed will be on them. We haven't had clarity on the existing debt yet either so hard to judge that.

Its likely getting reported in America, the noise over here doesnt usually reach them making them look badWhy are these leaches suddenly concerned about their reputation? Unless they really mean to stay on is their valuation isn't met?
secret AFTV fan?I'm sure he said blud
They don’t give a feck what redcafe user MDFC Manager thinks of them or says in a public forum, but they damn well do care about what billionaires say. Fairly easy to understand whyWhy are these leaches suddenly concerned about their reputation? Unless they really mean to stay on is their valuation isn't met?
It’s always been possible.Great so it now looks possible that the Glazers may retain some control of the club via the Elliot Investment group.
Congratulation on grasping the point I was making. How often do you think they had the chance to? In their pre match preview of United v Forest?
