Not sure how we can accept comments like the one this twitter user has highlighted as a fan base to be honest. How are trans supporters of the club supposed to feel reading bile like this?
Oh look who’s here. 50 pages of rambling about nothing.
I’ld bet anything that Avram Glazers breath smells like horse shit
I hope this is tongue in cheek. I've been involved in business deals with Qataris in the past and my own experience is that they mean what they say and their word can be trusted. British businessmen with Sir in front of their names, maybe not so much,
To be fair so many idiots think like this anyway. I’d even argue it’s the prevailing way of thinking more than sports washingAnd people say sports washing doesn’t exist….
Yet they praise the food at the Etihad and how lucky Newcastle were to get bought by the Saudi's. Let's get it right they don't want Manchester United being bought by an oil rich owner. We are doing well at the moment and it's terrifies them how good we could become.
It doesn't matter at all because he's obviously just a front man for a state purchase.
Do you remember this guy when City was bought by Abu Dhabi?
Very few do and he hasn't been seen since at City.
I have seen nothing to suggest that.
Human rights and state ownership is all I've seen being called out.
INEOS have pushed the local lad, British owner angle as a means of manipulation. Some of it seems to have stuck with some, but I don't see much in the way of racism.
There is a bit there now. People laughing at how someone from Qatar could possibly be a United fan was a monumentally stupid point to make that lasted a few pages on hereI have seen nothing to suggest that.

Those looking at reasons to dislike the Qataris' coming due to issues with LGBTQ+ I don't see any exclusion in any form at City or PSG. Manchester is not in Qatar. The prospective owners are educated in England from an early age and know British culture.Had someone argue today at OT that Radcliffe being a Chelsea fan is worse than the Qatari regime’s homophobic and misogynistic laws because they won’t affect us as fans.
They don't like that we are a threat now. A lot thought ETH would fail, slagging off his signings. Those first two results were manna from heaven for them. Now we have to get the right owner who will let that continue. Just let the man do his job, back him, make OT the best stadium in the world. Sorted.100% this. The thought of a Middle East backed United is causing the league to shit themselves especially when they’d be committed to winning and not profits.
As the Elliot news showed yesterday, it's perfectly possible we end up with some god awful asset stripping US hedge fund and the entire Ratcliffe v Qatar debate is rendered pointless.
That guy was sidelined because he had a big mouth and was making embarrassingly bombastic claims of signing CR7 and others immediately following the takeover.
AgreeI have heard a few fans who suggest if the Qataris take over we will be so successful it will get boring. Success will not be that sweet. PSG or City have not yet been successful in Europe. Anyway, as a fan, I will never get bored of watching the best talents doing their business at Old Trafford.
Not sure about boring, unless city get relegated, pool sack klopp, Chelsea stay midtable and we walk the league every year. It would feel a bit hollow I guess, especially if we could sign players freely shutout like without worry about consequences.I have heard a few fans who suggest if the Qataris take over we will be so successful it will get boring. Clubs need money both on the pitch and in infrastructure. Let us not be pretentious, like it or not, there are no perfect owners we just need owners with deep pockets.
To be fair we haven’t seen this level of talent concentrated in one league before. Not sure about boring, unless city get relegated, pool sack klopp, Chelsea stay midtable and we walk the league every year. Not followed this too closely over the last 24 hours, but have they actually launched a bid?
I thought it was more likely that if they get involved, they'll probably back up another (main) bidder in some capacity or other (I mean rather than trying to buy a share majority themselves).
Speaking of Elliot and godawful asset strippers

Elliot need hounding. Need to make it very clear this is a non starter.

Yeah from what I remember he was a clown, didn't he buy Portsmouth?
But anyway he was just the front man, it's likely Sheikh Jassim will be the same.
Doesn’t make sense, they’re not being forced to sell. This is them cashing out
Edit why is he reporting old news anyway?

If there’s a negative story out there Ogden will find it.
I think the difference between United and City is that we have our money and legacy secured. Qatar is not going to make us a "big club to compete for titles' like they did with City, we already are one. And they don't even need to invest a shitton on players either. We just need help about the off-field stuff. The club itself afterwards has more than enough revenue generation to buy the best players in the world afterwards. Not sure about boring, unless city get relegated, pool sack klopp, Chelsea stay midtable and we walk the league every year.
