Tell me you are from a first world country without telling me you are from a first world country.

English fans tend to support English clubs. Spanish fans tend to support Spanish clubs. Same for Germans, Italians, French, Dutch, Portuguese.
But then in other countries, especially the small ones, people tend to support foreign clubs. I cared much more about United than my hometown club, in fact I didn’t even watch football in my country (preferred basketball instead), but I watched every game of United. Most people tended to support the big clubs, but I knew some who supported Roma, Fiorentina and West Ham (weird feckers).
There is nothing weird or unbelievable for a Qatari 10 years old guy starting to support United. In fact, millions of international fans started supported United back then, it was a huge club that had just won UEFA and FA Cup. It is completely xenophobic suggesting that he is either lying or was a seer about starting to support United back then.

Bear in mind, he was probably at England back then considering that he was schooled in England.
