What's wrong with that statement?
Just sounds... weird announcing it like that, is all. But it's an aggregator, so yeah. Whatever.
What's wrong with that statement?
So what? They will go if he is sacked in may/june at the end of the season creating the same scenario. We need results and a steadying of the ship, neither of which ETH is able or willing to do.I just don't see the point as soon as we sack EtH all the coaches will go and then we'll be in same position as we were with Ralf where no grade A coaches want a 4 month gig so you have to make do with what you can get like Armas last time

Who cares, this is a fallacy. There are managers available that ineos can find, stop pretending there is no one.If they go who replaces them? which coaches would leave a good job for a 4 month job?, whereas in the summer they'll appoint a manager then he'll get coaches he wants.
He's clearly not watched us much if he thinks we normally do well against Spurs these days.Did he just say "lads, it's Spurs"?
Maybe he meant ChelseaHe's clearly not watched us much if he thinks we normally do well against Spurs these days.
thanks hairy hands.Richard Keys had just said on Qatari owned Bein that Brailsford shouldn't be anywhere near sports.

I’ve addressed the warped view our fans have of caretaker managers elsewhere but I also don’t think our ‘number one choice’ will suddenly be easier to get come the Summer. *cough * it’ll be Graham Potter *cough *Let's be clear this manager will be sacked but to do it now if you cannot get your number one choice and then scrapping around for an interim with interim coaches is not going to do anything for this season I doubt we'd even get any new manager bounce out of it because the teams mental state.
In reality the interim manager is ten Hag he has to prove to the new guys he can do it and has 4 months to turn it around.
Don’t have an interest in taking the thread off topic but that’s exactly what your initial post was doing. . .Very few clubs have had our level of injuries, and the injury point is massive. If Ole had the same injuries he'd not have been close to the amount of wins. Also the trend isn't relevant to the point, as you said two other managers were sacked for less and relied on one stat to suggest this, which is a daft way to evaluate things.
But you claimed two managers were sacked for less when they very obviously weren't.
As I said, I don't have an interest in taking this thread off topic for too long, and I'm done with this sub debate.
You’re confusing me saying that he has performed worse with he is a worse manager.I didn't ignore the above post, the other guy said "no manager would be successful under this regime" and you made the sarky comment "can other coaches not lose 14 games by new year" obviously implying that ETH isn't good enough and should be sacked for someone that doesn't lose 14 games by new year.
I pointed out that your sarky comment didn't make sense as ETH can already do what you were asking for as proven by last year, that was my point.
I'm not even sure ETH is good enough myself anymore, I just took issue with that comment as you were making it sound like he's the worse manager ever which isn't true.
We'll see how he finishes this season as the excuses have nearly ran out now with his players coming back and fewer games to play and if we don't drastically improve i'm sure he will rightly be replaced in the summer.
EDIT: To be clear if we could get De Zerbi or Zidane in today I would sack him before the 4.30 kick off but that isn't going to happen so we might as well give him the chance to finish the season and see if the likes of Mount, Casemiro and Martinez etc being fit does change things like he says and most people seem to think.
I didn't even know he was single. Must be a big target gold diggers. whiteWhat's wrong with that statement?
I mean he's not wrong but he's only saying it because his paymasters didn't win the bid to buy the club.Richard Keys had just said on Qatari owned Bein that Brailsford shouldn't be anywhere near sports.

No offence but I've already told you I'm not interested in debating a silly point you made further. Especially not during a game I'm watching.I’ve addressed the warped view our fans have of caretaker managers elsewhere but I also don’t think our ‘number one choice’ will suddenly be easier to get come the Summer. *cough * it’ll be Graham Potter *cough *
Caretakers are not something ideal, they are someone you bring in because the permanent manager has fallen short of minimal expectations.
Working on the premise there is no ideal replacement very few clubs would ever change managers.
Personally I think they’ll keep EtH till the Summer & he’s a lame duck.
Don’t have an interest in taking the thread off topic but that’s exactly what your initial post was doing. . .
Go back to the initial post you took umbrage with. My post was in response to the 14 losses by New Year to which I mentioned Ole, Jose & Moyes did & were still sacked. You’ve subverted this & are now talking about managers being sacked ‘for less’ because you refuse to answer the simple questions.
Jose, Moyes, Ole sweet all sacked because they were deemed not good enoughz. Fact.
None of the above had as bad a run in the Premier League as EtH is currently presiding over. Fact.
By this above being true. All managers lost their jobs [& rightly so] never having had such a poor run of league form. Fact.
You can reword your angle all you like. The above is what I’m saying. I’m not saying ‘sack EtH cause we sacked [enter other crap manager here]’ so trying to move this as the point is what is daft. EtH should lose his job based on his performance & had we not seen the likes of Ole & Moyes he probably would have already.
So stop with the narrative I’m saying ‘sack EtH because [former manager]’.
You’re confusing me saying that he has performed worse with he is a worse manager.
See above. Covers your other points.

.
I can’t believe people are so dense that I’m actually coming across as defending Ole.“Fact” my arse.
Ole got sacked on 1.42 pts per game in the Prem. ETH is currently on 1.55 and if he keeps the lead today, it’s 1.61 which actually isn’t far off Ole’s second best full season (1.73).

Maybe focus on the match instead of posting to people who want to move on.

They have to *actually* confirm the deal officially before they can do anything/appoint anyone. No idea why it takes so long to announce the new structure but we need that asap

You just know even with him there watching them in person, he was thinking ‘surely they’d play their bollocks off to impress me’ but was then disappointed when they served up the same old dross at the full time whistle.
