Why should they sell when the club performance levels goes up?
If Ratcliffe is successful then Glazers won't have motive to sell, they're selling now because the honey has dried up. Ratcliffe has come up with new beehives full of bees, Glazers for sure expect some kind of honey in the future
The Glazers will sell if they believe it makes financial sense for them to do so. And that is only influenced to a minor degree by our success on the pitch.
It is much more substantially tied to broader concerns like the generation of new revenue streams, developments in certain markets, changes to competition structures, etc. The value of the club could dramatically increase in coming years even if we struggle on the pitch, just as it could remain static even if we are successful on the pitch.
