Which makes the hit job even stranger and raises questions about its purpose. Why would you do that when from the public standpoint it isn't really needed. I believe that I was among the most vocal about giving Murtough a chance to prove that he wasn't good enough, so I wasn't a hater from the start but now absolutely believe that he is terrible at his job because I haven't seen any coherence in the clubs football decisions and I blame him for many of ETH blunders and the lack of pressure put on ETH.

Pretty infuriating read. Hopefully a big change is coming, because it's needed. Arnold and Murtough were acting like headless chickens, to no one's surprise. The worst part of the article for me is that we ditched the plans for both Kane and Rice because of Casemiro.
Yeah understand ditching plans for Rice as we probably didn't expect Casemiro to drop off so much,however moving away from Kane was a disastrous decision. Signing an experienced striker was easily the biggest priority but never happened.
