Were Liverpool really in that much a better state at the time though? I guess they came close to a PL win but they weren't structurally playing for titles like United were at the time. Correct me if I'm wrong. He seemed to change everything, something I think (some) people also expected from EtH. Think he could have done the same at United. That Disneyland remark really soured him I guess

Interesting times. Certainly curious if Ratcliffe is the one to have a proper structure in place. For all you know it is going from one shitshow to the other...
