Jassim's father said a while back he didn't like the investment, it stuck with me this whole time.
They had a sensible limit and held firm. Seems like the Glazers held out for improved offers and they didn't come. I feel what Jassim offered was about right given their plans. Jim is ok with involvement in a top club with a goal of buying as much as he can. They have a partial involvement in Mercedes F1.

There is nothing that tells me Jim is a better option, just as much as there was nothing telling me Qatar was better. Both options are terrible in my opinion.
My hope is, Jim is the smartest person in the room. The Glazers know nothing about football, but they know how to do business. I just hope they haven't got one over Jim and INEOS will have the capability to take over the club fully in the near (2-3 years) future.

Isn't the Ineos bid basically how much debt we are in? Hopefully the Glaziers just wipe off the debt and that would remove a huge weight off our neck. That would be a huge step towards apeasing the fans. Then all they need is 2 billion for the stadium. I hope they have a plan for that.

Wanted Qatar to win but if Jim does get sporting control and makes changes during the season so that the right people are in place for the ‘24 season that’s a positive start. Hopefully we see that and there is a defined timeline towards the full takeover.

Im not Goldbridge (Brents) biggest fan nor do I think he is right (most recently incensed outrage of SJR winning) but his channel is far more likeable honest and has regular information and reporting than the others.

Who is outraged? You asked why people disliked him I gave an answer. He exists, there's no outrage about it. He's not the only fraud out there on the United fan channels and he's made a career out of it, some might say fair play to him for that. Not me, but some.
I think we would have had exclusives from other United Stand contributors over the years who fell out with Goldbridge and left the channel if there was any doubt on whether he was a true United fan or not.
