2020 - £23.2m
2021 - £10.7m
2022 - £33.6m

But also debt interest repayments:

2020 - £20.45m
2021 - £20.54m
2022 - £20.64m
But, you know, it's typical business practice what they're doing.

Some of the excuses used to defend these scumbags are worse than the scum themselves.

Take this as you will, for my sins I was listening to Goldbridge who does have some…….decent sources, and he was talking to someone close to the club who said this. The club are deliberately waiting until tomorrow to do the Amrabat deal because they know Fiorentina want him out and he wants to come to united only. And that the Glazers don’t care about the fans as they can’t be touched, they have weathered far greater than this. I Haven’t been to OT since those lizards bought the club, I only buy snide shirts and I dont give them a single penny of my money. ALL fans now need to unite and boycott games until they have gone, empty stadiums week in week out, tell the sponsors that no united fan will do business with them until they have gone. These vile shithouses have made a laughing stock of the club that I love and grew up watching the likes of Best, Charlton, Law, Robson etc.

Like what exactly?

That is going to be difficult when you a proportion of the supporters coming to watch for a day out and treating the place like a museum.

I want them out as much as you, but I Jassim will have to increase his bid.

yes it would be difficult , but I think the time has finally come now for ALL regular match going fans and ST holders to boycott the games, I do believe that we will still have the day trippers that just want to be able to say they have been to OT turn up, but they would be the minority. I would be willing to wager good money that if this happens, along with a refusal to give ANY custom to the club sponsors (and make sure that this is communicated to the highest level via the right channels) once the sponsors (and the Glazers) see their income throttled and the negatives that come with it, they will have no choice but to sell. How many times have we been here before with these parasitic wankers, protest after protest they don’t care ( when I say they have weathered worse) I knew they wouldn’t be selling just yet as we qualified for the ECL . I don’t understand their actions at the moment, they have leveraged everything to the absolute hilt right now, there is no dividends that they can take out of the club at the moment, unless……this is the reason for loan deals and minimal spend, because they are planning on taking more.

Can't some of these groups all get together and organise something on all social media platforms? Here, reddit, discord, WhatsApp, insta, Facebook, Twitter etc. Also I'm sure there's buses organised for groups to travel to the game that could do as below. Surely there's thousands of ST holders and general fans that could go to the same game and do a sit in before kick off, at half time they could do a peaceful protest and not go back to their seats for ten minutes and then sit in after the game?
Or organise some way of blocking the teams getting to OT so the game gets delayed.
Anyone that's already got a ticket can do the above too.

I'll keep posting the above as some are only thinking of more radical actions. I'm not sure doing any of the above would get you in serious trouble as they're all peaceful protests and could be done more than once. Even If only a small percentage of online match going fans do this regularly it would be noticed and perhaps passing out leaflets around OT explaining to others attending the match some would join in. If it was a consistent campaign it would hopefully gain more support so eventually it would be seen more and more.

Another thing would be to boycott any spending on food and drink in the ground, this shouldn't be too difficult to get going as it's hardly recognisable as food. This would hit them in the pocket in the long term. Also if the leaflets were handed out in large numbers someone will have to pay to clean them all up and nobody would be likely to be in trouble with littering because they can't arrest everyone.

This way you get to see some of the game if you already have a ticket.
Just a few ideas. If they don't feck off then the fan base has lots of time to implement this.

Praying for some good news on ownership front in next few weeks. I want to know what it feels like to have owners who care about winning. Would also be nice to actually achieve more than a 6/10 window. Whether we can actually still get decent money for Maguire & McTominay is debatable.

Apparently, Kasper Schmeichel's contract has been " mutually terminated." Did he not get on well there or has questioned the ambitions of the owners?

I'd say getting rid of Kasper Schmeichel says the opposite of their ambitions to be fair.

I want to say thank you to those that have taken the time out to organise and participate in this this demonstration here today.

I sincerely hope that this topic begins to gain more traction again in the very near future (now that the transfer window is closed) .I hope organisations like MUST can get the answers to what the Glazer's intentions are.

It is time for this club to be free from their ownership.

Exactly and feck off to all that question any protest towards the Glazer’s

More fans who don't go to games, telling the fans who do, not to go anymore..

Unfair comment this, I’ve been following united and going to games since 1977, I stopped going when the Glazers stole (not bought) our club because I will not give them a single penny of my hard earned money whilst they steal money from hard working fans week in week out.

This saga has no end in sight, doesn't it? Or maybe it does.

Under Glazer ownership, United is an obviously depreciating asset. So, the longer they stay the relative strength of United as a brand, compared to other clubs is only going to deteriorate. I'm assuming that they're not mentally ill(simple-minded idiots) and that they understand that. We're probably gaining less and less of younger fans in recent times compared to some other clubs, you all understand why. That will reflect in declining sponsorships, income, popularity, cultural relevance etc. in the future. Winning is essential for all of that(contrary to what that idiot Woodward thought), it's pretty simple.

Eventual path of United with their leadership is first midtable obscurity and then relegation and bankruptcy/administration. So, unless they really want to completely obliterate the club(maybe they're secret hardcore Liverpool fans, who knows?), they have to sell the club at some point - it would be incredibly foolish, brainless not to, from the financial point of view.

It's better for them to sell while the club still has big brand value and is at least battling for top 4 in the PL, before the midtable irrelevancy phase that is coming eventually with them staying, or even worse(bankruptcy/administration/relegation).

So, my guess is that they're not witless idiots and that they will sell the club while it's still at least somewhat relevant as a brand(like, right now). They're probably not going to wait for significant further depreciation and the next destructive phases I've described above. Club clearly needs significant money injection that they can't/won't provide(Old Trafford, Carrington facilities, debt interest rates...), there is no space really for more debt.

This current sale process might drag on for a long time, like a war of attrition. It might even take a couple(maybe up to 5) years, but they likely will be gone. The club is a ticking time-bomb and the Glazers are getting closer at blowing it up. They probably have no choice but to sell, even reluctantly.

Keeping hold of this club in status quo doesn't make financial sense in the long run, unless the Super League project is revived, but i hope it's truly dead and it won't come back. At least it looks like it won't, there is no significant buzz, support for it from what i see. Doesn't fit culturally with European philosophy of sport and competition.

It's futile.

The Glazers will vamoose whenever the Qataris up their state bid. Protests are just performative.

If you want a say in the running of the club you should simultaneously protest the likes of Qatar, Ratcliffe and franchise football per se, but you don't want that, do you?

Instead, you want a sportswashing vehicle.

I just can not see what their plan is right now, I assumed that they were really looking for other parasites to invest keeping them in charge. They have sold off the family silver so to speak, everything is leveraged to the absolute hilt. Anyone with even an ounce of common sense knows that you invest fairly heavily after the season that we have just had. The more success on the field equals off field financial gain, it runs lot are scratching around for loan deals for four months until your injured Players return (rather than squad competition and depth) meanwhile we have buyer that wants to return not be club to where it should b. And I notice that clubs were all over the EPL when it looked as though the sale was almost decided with the Qatari bid, yet they are eunuchs when our owners are raping and pillaging our club worse than a Norse king. We will not get out of our EPL group because of a lack of investment, and if we fail to be top four this season (and tbh I think theres a very good chance of that) then we are absolutely screwed. I can see ETH going if we are not sold.,

Good post.

The ROLI (Return on Lack of Investment!) for them will never be as high as it is right now. Even the anticipation of bigger money around the corner cannot mitigate the burden of debt that is now in full view of everybody.

With bank loan renewals 18 months away with staggering increases anticipated, and them not being in a position to just offload some of their shares without losing control of the club - they are backed into a corner. Sure, holding onto the club is still an option for them - but the value of the club will drop off a cliff edge if they were to announce they were staying. If they were to repeat this process in 12 months time - they wouldn't get people willing to pay a premium (a) because its been done before and wasn't accepted and (b) they would be the ones in 12 months under pressure to get a deal done.

This is in my opinion of where we are today - one of these

1. A deal has been done and we're waiting on some sort of legalities, due diligence
2. They are waiting for Qatar to back out so they can accept the Ineos deal
3. They are looking into some god awful clever ways to re-finance
There is not and cannot be an option 4. where they do nothing - the club will be on its knees in 18 months with no money for transfers, no sponsors will to pay premium anymore and probably losing players and managers because the club isn't seen as having a footballing ambition - only financial.

Not this again with you. No I do not.

We have invested heavily, we signed 3 players for 50+ million, as well as signing amrabat (clear first choice for ETH, given we chased him all summer) for an expensive loan fee, whilst struggling to move players out. We are third in net spend this summer.

Investment has never been the problem on the football pitch, the operations of the football club and how we decide to invest it is the problem.

It's impossible to know that the protests don't have an impact and its frustrating hearing fans with that opinion.

I'd be surprised if they didn't. The Glazers have already seen the power that fan back-lash can have when the super league got scuppered, which is likely a part of the reason why they are selling to begin with.

If I was considering selling an asset which has a vocal section of the customer-base hell-bent on protesting my ownership and potentially boycott brands if I didn't sell, it would be crazy to not consider that factor in my decision.

Give it a rest, Harry, you Glazer WUM.

Says the PES Monster from the comfort of his pyjamas.

And PES 6 was crap. 5 much better.

Trying again in 2025. Better to just check out mentally until then.

If that report is indeed true, times up on football matters. It's time for the fans to really go all out against them, even if it hurts us short term. Because for the long term gains it will bring, it is worth it. Let's drive them out.

So it’s been widely reported at 6 billion for months and now all of a sudden it’s at 10? Feck off

My guess is it's a 10B overall value, so that would be for their shares and the shares listed on the stock market.

Either way, I was expecting this but it's so disheartening. This club is utterly screwed

The most predictable thing of the summer.

They are never going to sell while there's complete apathy from the fanbase.
