Club Sale | It’s done!

We won't find success under the Glazers, it's not just a case of money, it's a leadership failure. They initially leaned on what SAF built with Gill and they had no reason to interfere with a successful model, but after Fergie they had to actually start leading the club, and they left everything to a banker, and when that banker completely failed for close to a decade, they replaced him with another banker, and through all that the club has been devoid of football experts. Just some yes men like Mourtough and that's it. This club won't succeed under this leadership, we'll just keep jumping from one manager to another, changing how we play football every single time, building new squads for each manager, just to fail again, rinse and repeat.

The club must be sold, and people who know what they're doing must be hired to run the football side of things. Otherwise we'll be left behind.

Who am I slagging?
I'm pointing out protests don't work if you've given them your money.

The Glazers are still in charge. The protests didn't work - that's clear.

You call me idiotic and daft but then have nothing but absolute faff to back up your point. Just talk about proven this and that with no actual information.

If I'm ignorant educate me!

All I can see is that the bastard Glazers are still in charge so it's not a huge leap to believe protests don't work once revenue still pumps into the coffers

You slagged off fans for going to the game and protesting.

The reality is that the fans have little power to do much about the Glazers, boycotts have been tried but failed to get sufficient support, and then actually become counterproductive.

Still nothing wrong with going to the match and expressing your opinion about the inept management though. Negative publicity will push sponsors to ask questions and that is the point where the Glazers will sit up and take notice. Certainly better than doing nothing anyway.

There is nothing 'alternative' about Jassim. Anyone with a functioning brain knows it is a state bid from Qatar, to use United to launder their dictatorship's reputation, with supposed 'big United fan Jas' as its front.

Very harsh. He could have Mogwai and Super Furry Animals posters all over his bedroom walls and a massive collection of knackered Converse All-Stars in his wardrobe.

Theyre such horrible leeches. They’ve latched on to the goose that has laid the golden egg and won’t let it go until it’s a rotting corpse.

Until they're outed, I think we'll be stuck in this rot we've been in post-Glazers.

Depressing times.

I thought it had been confirmed they're staying now?

Nothing has been confirmed I don’t think.

But If they are staying, the bare minimum they should do is clear the debt that they put on the fecking club.

Pigs will fly before the Glazers spend their own money though.

Its perverse, but I get why many fans have the attitude of short term pain for long term gain, the more games we lose, the closer the Glazers are to the exit door.
Indeed. People might argue they won't just change their decision on our form i.e whim BUT it seems pretty obvious to me that they would have sold by now if it wasn't for our resurgence last season under EtH.

Can't some of these groups all get together and organise something on all social media platforms? Here, reddit, discord, WhatsApp, insta, Facebook, Twitter etc. Also I'm sure there's buses organised for groups to travel to the game that could do as below. Surely there's thousands of ST holders and general fans that could go to the same game and do a sit in before kick off, at half time they could do a peaceful protest and not go back to their seats for ten minutes and then sit in after the game?
Or organise some way of blocking the teams getting to OT so the game gets delayed.
Anyone that's already got a ticket can do the above too.

Completely agree with that.

Dark days. If they don't sell we will be 3rd to 7th for the next XXXXX years with an odd cup run. Sadly the sale is the only thing that really matters right now. Fecking sucks.

Lying to the Raine group. Just the public proclamation from a group like Raine that they feel they’ve been intentionally misled is a pretty big deal. Wow

This is the kind of stuff that should make the Raine group bring the SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) on board to hunt the Glazers down. It is outright market manipulation and there are several laws that punish such type of crime very harshly, namely in the context that Manchester United is listed at the NYSE and thus under US jurisdiction.

We all know nothing is really going to get any better until this lot are gone, everything else is pretty much a waste of time until that day happens.

Yeah all of the poisonous off the field stuff has already translated on to the pitch. We need new owners desperately or I dread to think how things could pan out this season. I am willing to literally plead to Jassim to give them that eye watering offer to save the club

Yea the club is at a real stalemate until the glaziers are gone, things aren't just feeling good with them here still, I don't why but I am still holding out hope for it to be done before the end of the year, that is of course based on no solid proof just hope.

Ten Hag has not helped himself at all with his strategy/approach this season but he’s handicapped by these disgusting owners and their pathetic football ‘structure’. A new manager will not fix this. Now that Newcastle, Chelsea, and Brighton are as they are we are likely to start sliding.

The manager has bought badly, but he’s been given shocking resources and Murtough has not given him proper support in getting players out, identifying better targets and whatever else.

I’d happily see games called off, points deductions etc to get these owners out.

If we don't sign cover for CB, CM, CF we will finish out of the top 5. No CL next season and Glazers will be toast. The other alternative is mass demonstrations and disruption at every home game but is there enough willing to do it?

Has to be even more intense than scouse game being called off in my opinion

It just needs to be consistent. One protest will do feck all.

Our protests are shit anyway.

It's time for us to take inspiration from our friends in Paris and step it up.

Could every match going fan not download one of those scrolling banner apps and type out ‘Glazers out’ or ‘feck you Goblin cnuts’ and all hold it up at a certain minute of the match…stewards can’t stop that. Everyone has a phone on them.

An empty Old Trafford for a game or two would garner major publicity, and far more supportive of the fans that wrecking the place might do. Have the sporting press camped on their doorstep in Florida and the family omerta might develop a crack.

Empty OT will never happen though...just like people asking others not to buy the new kits - yet everywhere you look people are wearing them

It'll never happen. If it were going to, it would have happened by now. It would get the Glazers out in no time but watching the game takes precedence. A season in the Championship might do it though.

This has gotten beyond ridiculous, they said they were going to sell, we go through this long drawn out process, offers on the table for much more than the club is worth, and the club is still a disorganized mess. Nothing has a chance of changing until the glazers are out plain and simple. Time for the fans to get creative and letting them know that it’s time to sell, enough is enough.

We need to stop allowing the Liverpool game being claimed as an ownership protest. It was a super league protest that followed on from protests at other clubs not owned by the Glazers

We would have benefitted from missing out on Champions League again. Yes the fans here would melt down (what’s new?) but I think it’s kept the Glazers holding out for more money and even the prospect of potentially staying - they think they’ve got another Fergie on their hands in Ten Hag.

United bore me. Everything related to our Disney Land type club bores me. Our club is infatuated with the commercial side but not the footballing side.

We’re going nowhere and 3rd/4th isn’t success to me. We should be fighting City until the final few weeks of the season yet our modern day fans see 4th as success.

It’s probably why I prefer the EFL Championship far more than the overrated Premier League these days.

Well then let's do something that can be held as an ownership protest. M.U.S.T and other organisations have to coordinate something that is send a clear message at how this club is being badly run.

We need some peaceful violent protests.
Only place would be outside their houses in Florida. Around wherever their American football ground is as well. Get it into the local press. This needs the US supporters to step up and do their bit. Even 100 fans protesting would be enough outside their domain. The novelty value would get the local media interested.

Who? People of RedCafe? I would hazard a guess that 90% of people in here are in Ireland/Norway and the United States. What are they going to do, post something on Twitter?

The Glazers know only a tiny portion of our fans are local and can actually vote with their feet. The rest of our fans are there for the day - and you can’t blame a dad and his daughter who have flown 10 hours to watch a game to just bin it off.

We need to get those 1 star google ratings on all Glazer business’ going again.

Between these cnuts dragging this sale out for 9 months with no end in sight, the whole Greenwood mess and now the team going to shit as well, things are going to come to a head real soon. Shit is going to hit the fan. That dark cloud that was briefly lifted last season is now rolling back in at an alarming pace.

You'd think it's a case of now or never for the Glazers. They're banking on the clubs value increasing, but if the performances drop and we lose out on Champions League football again, theres only one real way that the vlaue is going to go in my opinion, and thats down. They're selling at a premium now and they're being offered close to what they want. It's just the fact that they're greedy leeches that want to milk us for all we're worth.

My guess is that they'll sell eventually, especially if the debt is now encroaching on the Buccs too (as i read yesterday). Can't see them selling their NFL team anytime soon, so if anything has to go, surely it's United.
