Serious post ? Utd do employ other people apart from footballers and coaches, if the admin/mods would like a few photos from Carrington of anything of there choice I will post in a private message but I won't post photos on here. The security guard that leaked the Antony signing was frog marched out of Carrington so that won't risk my job
Can you get naked photos of players? Asking for a friend.

This is Joel:
https://www.lx.com/news/bucs-vs-chi...dates-do-the-super-bowl-owners-support/30154/ Joel donated 2,5m$ to the democratic party
He has also donated $98,000 to Trump’s 2016 campaign

Avram: Pelosi fan it seems like.
Avram: https://www.campaignmoney.com/political/contributions/avram-glazer.asp?cycle=20

It's clear they contribute to both parties, but the huge sums are going to the democratic party. Or you can prove otherwise

Theres more than one Glazer and the main ones are mates with Trump.

Will do, we found out the day before Butland was announced to the media as he was having his photos and interview completed just after his medical
Appreciated. And no, you don't need to send anything to anyone, to prove your employment at Carrington. Just comment in here. Up to people to believe you or not.

Saying that, any thing significant you find out, you can always tag me, I don't want to miss out!

I believe you. Although if you can rob a pair of old school adidas predators for me, size 10.5, that would really seal the deal.

Thought you worked at the airport?

What do we think of this talk about Qatar looking to invest in Spurs out of interest?

There’s not much substance in the article. Says United, Liverpool and Spurs (very funny that Spurs aren’t in the headline) are potential targets for investment. Minority or full purchase. But the article pushes minority investment more than outright purchase. Also mentions that QSI are only confirmed to have had talks with Spurs.

From Bloomberg:

QSI is also considering both a full takeover or a stake in rivals including Manchester United or Liverpool FC, added the person, who asked not to be named because the discussions are private.

A spokesperson for QSI declined to comment

Again, what are the advantages of a minority investment for Qatar?

There are a number of potential advantages.

They don't have to run afoul of any issues with being majority owners of two clubs in the CL or deal with potential public relations blowback from that.

Under the right terms, they can still associate themselves with a major English football institution, do various things to get that club and Qatar associated as brands, and therefore integrate themselves further into UK society, culture, and influence.

The cost is a lot lower than outright buying a big club. Hypothetically, maybe they think they will get like 75% of the sportswashing benefit for 30% of the cost or something like that.

More interesting is, would investing in United/Liverpool mean ending the PSG project? Cannot really see them running both at the same time

They’re apparently trying to sell a large stake of PSG aren’t they?

The rumours that they’ll get Beckham to be the face of a bid for United seem to have come from somewhere

No. Red Bull Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg show how to do it.

PSG are run horribly by the way but realistically the only real option. TBH I think it will be Liverpool and minority investment.

You see that's my concern. RB Salzburg and Leipzig work fine, because they aren't really the same level teams. Salzburg constantly has been "a bit" below, and because of the league it will probably never be pushed to the level of Leipzig. (I don't count NY and others, because it's way too different situation)

On the other hand we have United and PSG where both teams are aiming at the top european level, and there we have a potential conflict of interest (even worse for us, because currently WE are the club below PSG - yes I know we eliminated them, but a scenario where we become a "lower" team in the company feeding PSG is an absolute nightmare)

Could be a move to hurry up/lower price and demands of United/Liverpool, spurs have denied the meeting and it seems a convenient headline with the spurs fans turning against Levy.

I can’t think of a worse scenario than an oil nation being a part owner and the glazers staying in control

Again, what are the advantages of a minority investment for Qatar?

There aren’t any for Utd, owners are incompetent and any minority investment would just be papering over cracks. Partial investment in Spurs or Liverpool could make sense but only a full buyout of Utd does.

I woke up at 1:30am last night with a rotten toothache which kept me up for 2 hours plus

So like anyone would, I started thinking about Manchester United's potential takeover

I remember the Athletic saying they would follow the Chelsea sale process (albeit not as rushed) so there would be a cut-off deadline for bidders to declare an interest. And beyond this date no more interest or bidders would be able to join the race (reason why Jim Ratcliffes too-late bid for Chelsea was rejected)

BBC also said they ideally want a sale concluded by Spring

With that in mind, when would this first deadline realistically be? You'd imagine it would need to be soon.
26th June 2023

It was probably edited because it was the biggest load of bollocks ever or it was liable so definitely not worth chasing
Probably shite themselves and deleted it - or like you say was biggest load of bull
