They have the right to protest if they dont like it.
The twitter fans should never be taken seriously and protesting against a potential anything is stupid and counter productive...

Strange how Jimmy came out a few months before the sale saying how the glazers are great people and now he’s getting in bed with them.
You're saying protesting in general is stupid? The twitter fans should never be taken seriously and protesting against a potential anything is stupid and counter productive...
Do you not think going on a bit of a charm offensive is all part of course with things like this?
You're saying protesting in general is stupid?
INEOS have deactivated comments on their twitter account after messages from our fans to leave the club.

That's not what you saidNo? Protesting is a great thing and should be protected but protesting against rumours and hearsay is stupid.
Yes it is.That's not what you said
How on earth is protesting against a potential new owner stupid? That is an utterly bizarre take.Yes it is.
I never said protesting in general is stupid. The word potential is there.
You generally want to build good relations with the people you are trying to buy something from. The young sheikh and his cohorts could learn from that.Strange how Jimmy came out a few months before the sale saying how the glazers are great people and now he’s getting in bed with them.
Or maybe they actually are decent people when you meet them (no matter how shit they have been in their business dealings and when it comes to United). It's not all black and white, even if people want to think of them as villains from old-style films.
Like when they met with the Glazers in Qatar? You generally want to build good relations with the people you are trying to buy something from. The young sheikh and his cohorts could learn from that.
To be clear, he owns 60% of INEOS and has two partners who each have a 20% stake.

I see Qatar's final bid as last desperate attempt to win a losing battle. They wouldn't have increased their bid if they were in strong position. If they were really confident that they'd win, surely they'd have been nominated as preferred bidders by now. If Qatar had lost, then again, there would be no point in another bid knowing that they wouldn't win.
In my 42 years I’ve been called a lot of things but never a pudding so thanks for that haha. I think both sides are leading with emotions coming from different perspectives. The ratcliffe stans are just as emotional not wanting SJ. Both sides are being lead with emotions which is pretty normal in this sort of situation.Of course they don't because like the vast majority of this thread they are leading with emotions and coming off as absolute puddings.
What is?Because it's based on nothing but feelings and lies spewed here /twitter as fact.
Suggest you go back to lying to folk about shit you never knew.

That's the bit that's always worried me. I accept Ratcliffe could be a genuine fan that wants to spend some of his significant personal wealth on the club he loves, Jack Walker-style, but what's the odds of the other two being the same? I'd love it if he is bidding as a fan and not as a business, but I don't suppose we'll find out unless he wins.To be clear, he owns 60% of INEOS and has two partners who each have a 20% stake.
What a great way to lose all shareholders’ confidence..
Sir Jim owns INEOS he doesn't answer to anyone.
Are you sure it was with Jassim's people? If it's the photo I'm thinking of, it was posted by dubious accounts with ties to Qatar.Like when they met with the Glazers in Qatar?
What is?
When the news came out ages ago about Aries looking at minority investment and fans protested that you consider that stupid?
Is that that black, steak and kidney or a dessert type pudding?Of course they don't because like the vast majority of this thread they are leading with emotions and coming off as absolute puddings.

You mean like the protest against the potential European super league? Wasn’t so stupid or counter productive? The twitter fans should never be taken seriously and protesting against a potential anything is stupid and counter productive...
For me it has to be dessert, not into offal. Is that that black, steak and kidney or a dessert type pudding?

That wasn't the determinant factor for the protest though. It was fans protesting against the Glazers being given a potential way to remain in control. That is far from stupid. No because minority investment isn't potential change it's more of the exact same with the same people in control.
SJR or SJ have to be given a fair crack of the whip before fans cry about it.
Taking the fact he already bid for Chelsea as a season ticket holder and fan into account he’s obviously very big on being a fan and now wants to be a fan of Manchester United again. It’s not a business move at all. That's the bit that's always worried me. I accept Ratcliffe could be a genuine fan that wants to spend some of his significant personal wealth on the club he loves, Jack Walker-style, but what's the odds of the other two being the same? In any event the bidding seems to be going pretty much as expected up to now. The Qataris want to be seen not to overpay, they have stayed in long enough to push Ineos to their maximum, and now they've put in what they believe will be the winning bid.
No one knows how much that is, lots of guesses, assumptions, and click-bait, but we haven't a clue in reality. Find out Friday I hope.

The fans hammered the company online and they quickly came out with a denial.
But you said protesting against potentially anything is bad. Not specifically Ratcliffe. That's my point of contention obviously. I think that's a pretty weird statement to make.Ok good shout BUT we knew the outcome of that potential, anything about INEOS/SJR is pure emotion led tripe.
I'm partial to a steak and kidney one myself, haven't had one in years because you can't get them where I am now, pudding chips and gravy was a favourite after a night on the bevvies back in the dayFor me it has to be dessert, not into offal.

Fair enough.Yep, wrong I was.. my head was just in the takeover not the wider impact of said statement.
Jail? someone ship this man some piesI'm partial to a steak and kidney one myself, haven't had one in years because you can't get them where I am now, pudding chips and gravy was a favourite after a night on the bevvies back in the day
Nope, the US doesn't do steak and kidney puddings, or if they do I've never seen them anywhere, could do with some good pies as well, cheese and onion, meat and potato etc - pies here are bloody desserts!Jail? someone ship this man some pies
OMG. I never ever read this type of stuff on here. I did on this one because it's a top 10 song of mine. Amazing work! Amazing. You have skills.
