We don't have enough info really to say who is best choice who is not. Qataris bid has obvious moral issues while Jim's bid has plenty of grey areas that we have no idea which way it will go.
Correct, plus glazers will choose the best bid for them, rather than the best bid for the club. The opposite of the Abramovich situation.
Just want the debt cleared, and the stadium refurbed/rebuilt to get us back on track, then I'm happy to only spend what we make.
Don't care if its Big Jim or Qatar tbh, only issue I have is the grey area surrounding what Jim will borrow and how it will be structured, would prefer no debt at all.
The above investment is only needed due to being bled by the glazers.

With FFP, it's not like we can spend without restraint. Apparently we're only allowed to spend £100m net this summer anyway.
I just want the following:
Glazers gone
Clear our debt
£1bn invested in the club which the Glazers/ interest have taken out into Stadium and Infrastructure
A proper football structure in place
We spend what we earn, so are within FFP laws
I don't think Radcliffe can achieve that. Qatar can.

If the supposed FFP restraints that we have to adhere with regards to amount available to spend to this summer due to our debt , and we don't have the new funding in place to clear that debt by the summer, then it's a pretty big issue.Its quite possible, and then of course our stupid reactionary fans will jump on the new owners and proclaim them as rubbish when our next season starts badly. Modern football sucks.
I don't think anyone who has the ability and eagerness to understand the financial situation will jump on the new owners should the above be the case - but it would look damn depressing if we have to keep a large number of players again for next season who shouldn't be here simply because we don't have the money to replace them.

Qatar are the biggest foreign investors into the British economy. From all the foreign investment that currently enters the UK, Qatar make up something like 34% of it, but of course, the line is buying United.
The UK economy can't grow without foreign investment so I'm not surprised he's flashing his arse in their direction if they've got more money to invest.

Who cares about a banner. Does that fan have B fan shares or something that are worth 10x the normal fan opinion.
The issue of ownership is already dividing and polarising the fan base. We saw the same thing with the whole stupid Ole in, Ole out thing in the last few years. There is a strange desire amongst United fans to be proven right, and to be seen as a superior to fellow fans. It’s weird and I don’t understand it but if we start next season under new owners badly there will absolutely be people who jump to blame the owners and their staffing team. If it goes REALLY badly then I can foresee protests again sadly.

I think the Ratcliffe bid will win and would be best for the fan base as I think it will be less divisive and toxic. I won’t be happy if the parasites stay in any shape or form though.
Yes. And we should also include in that assessment whether the club will just be used as a foreign policy tool, and/or that the club will be linked to everything that government does, good and bad.

And all of Europe wants their liquid gas now because they don’t want gas from Russia anymore. German firms have signed a 15-year deal during the WC in Qatar to buy 2m tonnes of liquid gas from Qatar. Everybody wants that of course, who cares about the human rights issues. Shameful!
To be fair, Europeans freezing to death in their own homes is probably a more pressing human rights issue for the leaders of those countries that the plight of the immigrants of Qatar.
Who said anything about him influencing it. Of course he may have a lot more to discuss besides Man United, but the timing of Qatar being backed by our government and portrayed in a favourable light is too big of a coincidence, I wouldn't be surprised if we got some news real soon.

That’s without player sales and is more to do with the clubs financials, posting a huge £115m loss which has increased the debt back to £635m and the interest will also go up to probably £40m per year to service now hopefully this years accounts won’t be so bad but if we lost £60m and still have a debt to service plus Amortised Transfer fees and wages of £300m it’s going to be very tough to do anything, which is why we need a full sale asap
