Christian Pulisic

Not sure Murtough understood what Ten Hag meant when he said to get a right winger.

Another Dortmund player who failed to live up to the hype. At least this time we know it for sure.

Loan might be alright but it screams yet more desperation

This is not that bad of an idea right? He's a hard working lad who needs game time. We are massively short of players for the here and now even if we don't want him long term. Loan actually makes sense for everyone here.

Would be a good signing, I think he's a really talented player. Would love a buy clause.

I actually like Pulisic, a loan is low risk and if he's any way competent on the right its an improvement on watching Rashford stink up the left. He seems like a positive and hard working sort too, something we need more of. Re injuries, he seems to miss about 10-12 games a season which is not great but also not a total sicknote considering last season that was off the back of one bad injury.

Whether or not he's in a priority position though, is open to debate.

Another player who is far better on the left than on the right - would make no sense unless Rashford is off and personally I think LWF in world football is particularly strong at the moment and there’s better options out there.

Why are people saying he'll play on the left? Thought he mainly played on the right?

Sancho on the left and Pulisic on the right. We're basically Dortmund

I'm not so sure about that. Stats seem to suggest fairly even goals and assists in both positions.

I would start him over Rashford if we sign him before we play Liverpool.

He failed to make an impression at Chelsea while playing alongside the likes of Lukaku, Werner, and Ziyech. Pretty underwhelming and more sloppy seconds.

Admittedly based on his time in England, he looks very overrated. You’ll get one good game in four and then not much else.

That's a massive improvement on rashford, so I'll take him!

As a Chelsea fan I wouldn't mind him going, even if it was to United.

Had a brilliant few months when football resumed in 2020 after the lockdown but other than that he's never really seemed up to the challenge. Apart from a few flashes of quality here and there he's really inconsistent and in the last few years has picked up a habit of getting muscle injuries quite often. Always seems to take forever to get back in any kind of form after his injuries too.

He's still at an age where it's possible to start improving and reaching his supposedly high potential but if he stays at Chelsea I just don't see it happening which is why I've been open to moving him on for while now, though if he were to move to a direct league rival, I'd at the very least demand a decent loan fee in addition to paying full wages.

Yeah after lockdown Lampard got the sack and Pulisic doesn't fit Tuchel's system. In fact most wingers won't do.

There was a stretch where he was awesome for us and our best attacker. But these days he’s right there with CHO as our most frustrating player. He’ll have 1 good game in every 5 he plays. When he’s fit, that is.

His best asset to our team recently has been his ability to draw fouls in dangerous areas but that’s about it. There’s a great talent in there and I’m sure a change of scenery would do him well.
