Thought Thiago looked pretty good when comming on for Spain today. Ronaldo did a madness not so long after he came on, so no one will mention his performance. Looked incredibly comfortable on the ball, glides past players and not fazed by any pressure. I'd really push to have him at United.
Exquisite control and short passing ability. Just employs the centre of midfield. He's not classed as a defensive midfielder or seem very attack minded. Stats would be interesting.
Thiagos the one. The guy is pure class. Pure movement, pure technique, just a proper player.

People are actually suprised at Thiago having a good game. He's always being a world class midfielder, the ultimate complete midfielder and one of the best of this current generation.

Thiago would have been a no-brainer had we not already signed Fred. Still wouldn't mind us going for him though.
Thiago is a ready made player and would be far better than SMS. I think 50m would be good enough to price him away from Bayern. We can then spend money on getting Sandro and a RW like Bale.

Yeah, it's a shame we don't seem to have considered him at all. It's a massive step up for Fred, so signing someone else who's more likely to settle straight away wouldn't be a bad idea. Thiago seems like he can play as a DLP or traditional #8 as well, so he'd be a good fit for a future midfield without Matic, regardless of which positon Fred ends up being used in (I feel there's a slight chance he could become a DM).
We've already spent about £60m though, so if we signed Sandro and him for like £50m each, I'm not sure there'd be enough funds for a big player at RW unless Martial leaves. Though it doesn't seem like there any big players available for that position anyway.

They'd have the 2 best midfields, or nearly so.
