Not sure how this line up would do defensively. We need to keep possession the way City does otherwise teams will run through our midfield. I would actually have a more defensive minded midfielder playing in Eriksen’s position.
Eriksen could play on the right wing as he has experience playing in that position for Spurs. Sancho on the left and Rashford/Martial as CF would complete the line up.
Ideally, I would like someone with pace and skill on the right but with our current options, this looks like the strongest line up.
This line up will be inadequate defensively. We’d lose 4-0 to most teams. Or 4-2 maybe, being as there is some actual quality in the midfield, but still a heavy loss to any team with pace and physicality.
Was quite sceptical of this signing at first, he had a poor last season at Spurs & didn’t pull up many trees at Inter. However that video that was posted a few pages back from his 6 months at Brentford looked very promising. Looks like he was playing a lot further back then his early PL days & pinging off some proper Scholes like passes. His passing off his left foot is seriously fantastic as well. Cautiously optimistic about this one I’d say.
I agree that no need to panic just yet on this one as there are obvious complications not seen with other players... that said, it would be nice if they go on with it!

Playing like that against any good team would be self destruction. We need a proper, hard working CDM in the team.
Also many forget how mediocre Bruno is in center midfield, he is a CAM and that's where he shined for us.

Only a guess but he hasn't signed anything yet, just informed the club that he accepts their offer.
Now he's got to sort out moving his family from London to Manchester, find a house, schools, etc. Plus get up there to sign contracts and do a medical.
I'd wager that due to the verbal agreement no one involved is feeling as antsy as some fans are.

A Danish site reported a private jet flew from Odense (Eriksen’s hometown in Denmark) to Manchester this afternoon. Link
