It's still £130m for United imo. Levy would be mad to sell to us, especially when we could take their CL spot.
I won't say those things I like De Gea and Pogba.I won’t win this.
I point out we have De Gea. You’ll say he nearly joined Madrid like 5 years ago.
I point out we have Paul Pogba. You’ll say he wants to leave.
England’s best CB joins us, you’ll just say it’s cause Man City dropped out.
We do, but on pitch performances need to reflect it
I don't think we would recoil at £70m for Eriksen. It's in Levy's best interest to sell him ASAP.
He'd be mad to let our window close without signing a replacement and then being held by the balls to sell him well below his asking price. He's between a rock and a hard place. The only light is that if he does sell him to us, he gets the chance to reinvest that money this window. It's still £130m for United imo. It is. To reiterate I'm not saying this will definitely happen, but I can't see how it's been written off.It is, and Levy will sell .. there's no way he's passing up even 50 million or so when he'll get nothing next summer. A deal can definitely be done between the clubs.
But, to go back to the start of all this .. then it's all up to Eriksen, and the ball is totally in his court.

Levy vs Woodward.
Eriksen is a much better player than Mata and Lingard but isn't he close to reaching a point where he won't get any better. Also what sort of wages and contract will he be after. He is effectively taking a step backwards leaving a stable Spurs side to play Europa League with Man Utd. Spurs selling to Utd makes no sense either. surely they'd rather sell on the cheap abroad than a direct rival. Is Eriksen a Lukaku replacement if it is that doesn't necessarily solve anything. We still don't have a striker capable of scoring more than 15+.
With Utd's track record recently when buying from rivals re: Sanchez and Matic. I am just concerned that might be another one of those. Eriksen leaving Spurs and CL to play Europa League. Why?

Spurs fans tell me Eriksen hasn't beaten the first man in a corner in years. - Would fit right in at Utd.
I think we should play hardball and not go through with the deal until, in addition to the purported £50m Levy takes Lingard as well from our hands. I'm sure that idea will seem very attractive to a bean counter like Levy.
Bringing Lingard into the deal would taking value away from the deal - we might go for it if you gave us £80 million plus Lingard vs £50 million cash.
Done!
We'll throw in a block of cheese as a sweeter. We're nice like that.

Would make sense if they're willing to sell to United for 50 Mill.talkSHITE saying Spurs want Coutiniho on loan.
If we get Eriksen before the window shuts thats it. We're winning the Ashes.
As long as it's particularly smelly and fancy cheese then it's a deal.
Is it sad or funny that I would take the last one?We should offer them £50m cash.
Or £55m + Darmian
Or £60m + Darmian + Rojo
Or £65m + Darmian + Rojo + Sanchez.
Damn was rooting for england until smith was soo goodcheeky bid for Steve Smith
When was the last time Spurs sold a prized asset to a Prem rival? Berbatov and Robbie Keane? Kyle Walker had dropped to a bench role when he was sold. He'd much rather sell to Real from 35mil than to us for 80mil.
Another Di Maria on our hands here...
Usually yes. But there's the very real chance he gets nothing for him in a season. He needs to sell before buying and wants to bring a replacement in this window. That's why this is being discussed seriously. Levy is between a rock and a hard place. When was the last time Spurs sold a prized asset to a Prem rival? Berbatov and Robbie Keane? I’d be amazed if this happened. Can’t see Levy selling to us, they’re effectively giving up their CL spot.
Been hearing about this from people in work. There's no way Levy will sell us Eriksen.
The rumour was probably started in order to boost Eriksen's value abroad, and also boost his wage demand. It happens all the time with us.
Total downgrade for Spurs that.
One more thing, would Eriksen really stitch up Spurs after everything they have done for him?
