Chelsea vs. Manchester United

He must have thought he was ready,he wasn't out for that long and he's not been to bad in fairness.
Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have had that much of an issue what with our other options being pretty crap but we have Fletcher back who has been playing well.

A three man midfield including Fletch, the presence of Kagawa or Hernandez from the start, better defesnive drills in training seemingly, there were alternatives even with the injuries.

Always easy to be wise afterwards

If RVP was playing today I think we would have more than got a few goals. That ball by Adnan then was a peach. Without Rooney or RVP on the pitch who else can you see scoring? The amount of goals that come or don't come from our midfield is ridiculous.

Any other top club and Moyes would have been sacked for the shit that's been served up this season.

I've just got to reserve judgement on him until next season. Give him the summer. Woodward HAS to deliver...the Glaziers MUST invest heavily for once...After that...sure...judge him on his choices and his vision..

Im annoyed at Moyes. He found a good formula last week in playing Fletcher Kagawa centrally....what would you do if you were a sane person. Yes, you would try to replicate this next week. What does Moyes do? He benches both players.

Yep this is what wrecks peoples head. He finds a good line up then completely throws it out the window

If we dont get 4th place then we simply will not attract top players.

Fletch would have been my preferred option. Jones has played well in the big games lately.

Why oh why do United players give a five yard space to opposition players to play their pass onwards?

Come on Chelsea, dink in another 3 and Moyes will go for good! 5 months on and it is very clear he has no clue on winning against top clubs without parking the bus. Any top player playing in the continent wouldn't want to come to us now. Unless of course the weekly pay is as unrealistic as Fellaini's transfer fee.

We did try to buy hazard...

And probably would have got him if we joined the real world and accepted that agent fees are now part of the game.

We can either hold our principles and have average players, or just pay up. We do seem to like talking about how we could sign players of quality, but never do.

I agree, but it also shows we have the wrong type of players in our squad in some positions. Has anyone apart from Adnan come out of this with any credit? I can't see it so relying on you folks opinions.

Carrick has been his okay, don think Adnan has done much tbf but he was always going to struggle up front.

Welbeck has had shite service today. He's scored 6 in 6, or have you forgotten?

No I haven't forgotten but I have watched him miss many a chance like today he could have had 2 if he was a natural goal getter. I'm a fan of Danny but he isn't much of a threat in the box.

And it turns out David Moyes isn't the greatest manager who ever lived. Weird that.

People are not expecting to replicate SAF´s success, otherwise they would expect a title challenge. There is a difference between not being part of the title race and falling into the depths of midtable, though.

I was one of the ones who was happy with Moyes's appointment but regardless of whether he's been let down in the transfer window, the way he's utilized the players he has had is very disappointing. How can you, knowing your midfield is your weakest area, continually allow yourself to get outnumbered there? How can you after seeing your team struggle because of a lack of players centrally then not react to it? He always makes the same subs, bring another striker on, swap one winger for another, rarely answering the problem.

Indeed, but if anyone says it here it's because they are a glory hunter and it's not the "united" way.

Stability apparently. We will be stabilising our CL position by not competing in the CL next season. Or something. We'll be stable though, no doubt about the stability. That's what Moyes brings.

Looking at Woy, I can see his thoughts.

"I'll tell you who's not playing our next game. That Ashley Young, that's who!"

We've been unlucky today but the squad just isn't good enough

Can understand the lineup today but it hasn't worked and the changes (Jones/Young) have backfired

Felt the first goal was always gonna be crucial in this but our defensive organisation is suicidal at times
