It'll almost certainly be a loan with purchase incentives down the line. If we get anything for him at this point it's almost immaterial; just getting him out of the side is addition by subtraction.
He was top class defender alright but at 35 years old he'll be totally exposed against pace and intensity of premier league. If they're considering him to be their main defender next summer then great business for their rivals.

Werner and ziyech both are taking first team training for past one month with the squad which is good for them to acclimatise with new team mates. Thiago Silva if signed, already had good match fitness since he played until yesterday. Havertz and chilwell will be eased into starting 11 by Lampard slowly I think.
Pulisic will be a big miss for start of the season. Recently Maignan from lille, keeper linked with Chelsea for 16 mn. I hope he won't be as bad as kepa if Chelsea signed him.

Incredible summer so far. No two ways about it. Abramovich going all out.
It is always a gamble but:
- no transfer fees
- he can coach and inspire the young defenders: really a true model
- sometimes Chelsea plays with 3 central defenders if I am right
What I imagine is that PSG will regret its decision when they will see his performances next year. Optmistic even it is challenging
He'll be a good buy as long as they actually sign another defender next to him. I'm saying if they're depending on him to be the main upgrade in their defense next season and that's it for defensive signings then it'll be a bad move imo.

I can see us trying Silva with Zouma. Both French speakers and complimentary styles.
Chilwell Silva Zouma Azpi/James (rotate depending on the opponent) is probably back 4 I'd go with on most weeks.
Word is it's €6m per year for Thiago Silva, so ~£5.4m per year. Translates to ~£104k per week; not outrageous by any means (obviously pending potential agent fees / signing bonuses, etc).
I don't think he can play week in week out, but PSG played a very high line in the CL and he still was clearly their best defender. I don't think he'll have much of a learning curve given his experience and proven quality, but you never know.
I think we missed a trick by not signing Aaron Ramsdale. He is a far better goalkeeper than Kepa, would have been cheap and his salary would be low.

Someone on here posted a Tweet from an unverified nobody (a few hundred followers) that said that. Not seen it from any remotely reasonable source.
This current Twitter flavour of the month is saying 6 million euros a year, which is about 120,000 a week.
Depends a bit on who we go for and who we can sell - Oblak isn't feasible, but we can probably budget ~40-50m for a new keeper. Our net spend thus far is about €90m.
First off the bench would likely be Tammy / CHO / Kovacic. RLC, Azpi, Alonso, and a CB also options depending on the situation.
Don't think we'd go anywhere near that high; even Hazard wasn't earning that much.

I think Rudiger, Zouma, Christensen, Tomori, Silva is a decent set of CB's for next season. They could play 3 at the back too with those players.

Significantly better. Your first XI probably still edges ours depending on how quickly our signings bed in, but our second XI is comfortably ahead of yours, no offence.

Among the players listed there, I think it's likely Emerson, Tomori, and Kepa are gone from the wage bill for this season. In an ideal world, so would Barkley.
I don't think the overall wages would be outrageous though - many of those listed are still quite young and aren't on obscene contracts. Ziyech also didn't sign a crazy deal - word is he's on roughly £100k per week.
