Higuain will poach a few goals but watching him at Milan and his conditioning dosen't look the best atm.

He looks out of shape and is coming to an even more demanding league.
I'm sceptical, very sceptical.
If he stands in a dangerous area & flails his stomach around, he'll still be a more effective centre forward than Morata. They're not going to be any worse off, at least.
Higuain is slowe than Lukaku. Reliable goal scoree but not sure he can cope with pace of the league. Can end badly for him.
Have you been on the booze?
Higuain joins the list of great strikers to play for Chelsea over the years. The likes of Shevchenko, Torres, Eto'o, Falcao.
Suarez wasn’t lightning quick and neither was Van Persie. A lack of pace won’t be an issue with Higuain.Him being slow is a common sleight I've been seeing. You really don't need pace in the PL to be an elite striker. Kane and Aguero aren't lightning fast. Giroud is someone I'd consider slow and Higuain is certainly quicker than him.
It'll be all about movement and link-up play in our team. We dominate possession against every opponent we play under Sarri so it's not as though Higuain would need to be pacey on the break. Don't think he'd be a good fit under Conte or Mou were they still here but he's perfect for Sarri's play style.

Can't be worse than Morata.
Why would Chelsea buy him in 18 months? Juventus obviously can't find a buyer for him. Good deal on the face of it for Chelsea - can send him back after 6 and 18 months. They certainly won't be buying him at nearly 33 at the end of that load deal.
Agüero is super quick for the first few meters. That kind of quickness matters more than how fast you run over the course of 20 meters. Higuaín is not as fast in those short bursts as the top strikers in England.Him being slow is a common sleight I've been seeing. You really don't need pace in the PL to be an elite striker. Higuain improves Chelsea, sadly.
Chelsea are fine and have been all season. Quite clearly the third best team in the league. And with Kane out they are favourites for a top 3 finish now. Having seen him live recently I wouldn't expect too much from Higuain but he may have something to prove in a new league and I still consider him an upgrade, if only to stop this Hazard as a false 9 stuff.
Well, if you think otherwise then you're probably the one who don't know him much.
Higuain definitely improves them. That's how terrible Morata's been, and to a lesser extent, Giroud.
Agreed with the bolded bits - we had di Maria as well, who seemingly wasn't happy in Manchester either. (the LvG effect, aside).This. More importantly Morata doesn't even want to play for us or be in London imo, having him around will be bad for the rest of the squad. Hence probably going to Madrid and taking a paycut to do it.
Higuain knows Sarri well, need to get him settled and in shape and I think he'll do well.
Board don't like signing older players. No other options in the market though. Deal makes sense if it goes through.
I hope to God this turns out like the way the Sanchez deal has turned out for us
Player plays great football the previous season, due to transfer issues and general disconcert he plays shite for half a season but people pin that down to him being unhappy. He gets a move in January... and then proceeds to prove that his earlier dip in form was actually the start of a decline
Go on Higuain, make history repeat itself.

There is definitely more to Higuain's game than just scoring goals, for me that is why I truly wanted him. His movement and link up play will help the likes of Hazard and Pedro a lot.Higuains in pretty bad goalscoring form it seems, 1 goal in 12 matches since October, and he's not exactly known for abilities other than scoring goals. Seems a bit of a gamble this
