Champions League Semi Finals (9th - 17th May)

Group stage and knockout phase is two different things. Bayern Munich are still a strong team this season unlike Liverpool and Manchester United.

It was a bit similiar when we won the treble in the 09/10 season. Everyone expected Bayern to win the final but we got 2-0 quite comfortably.

It is what it is. Benfica were great in their group and seemed strong but after we defeated them they suddenly were not that great.

We are in the CL-final and deserve credit for it. Just because we made our opponents look weak doesn't mean they were weak.

In 09/10 no one believed in us and we knocked out all the becoming champions in Prime Barca, Chelsea and i think Bayern won that year while we basically owned them in the final. I think some english fans are bitter because of their loss to Italy in the Euros aswell.

Talk about history and stuff, Manchester United bring up their treble they won in overtime. We had a, without doubt, stronger treble than Manchester Uniteds so sure we can talk history.

It is what it is.
You played a Benfica that lost a 10-point lead in the league, not the one from last year.
The less said about Porto and Milan the better.
Barcelona is literally the only good team you managed to overcome, which is fair enough, but hardly enough to warrant a CL final.

Anyway, imo Inter will look quite out of place in that final and there's definitely huge gap in quality between them and City, but that's just my opinion.

They need to weather the storm. Real Madrid will get chances eventually.

They're fecking everywhere. If Madrid make the first 30 minutes without conceding, they have a chance.

Valverde should have started instead of Rodrygo to the right, with Tchouameni or Camavinga placed in the middle to have more balance and stuffed midfield. I expected the same in Bernabeu, Rodrygo did not offer much.

Are Real playing rope a dope for the second half?

Not by choice. They're shite and got lucky playing Liverpool and Chelsea with both in terrible form. Liverpool in their current form will take Real apart. City will win this in 2nd gear.
