Champions League Semi Finals (26th Apr - 4th May)

Luis Diaz on, he genuinely could pull them back into it on his own with how good he's been since joining.

If not, it will be 3 out of the last 4 finals being competed by only English clubs. Don't know why anyone gets upset by acknowledging it is the strongest league at this time.

Trust me, I'm not upset, but you have to admit it's kind of funny if it ends up being an all Spanish final.

So Robertson and Taa are not so good at defending are they?

Jota off. Unsure how I feel about that, @Klopper76. I don’t rate him too highly but he loves a big goal… :nervous:
Him playing has forced Mane to play wide where he’s struggled. I would’ve made that sub.

No idea how Keita is still on.

Upset probably wasn't the right word. I don't mind so long as Villareal win; it has been a while since an unexpected team won the Champions League

Sorry if I missed this, but why’s there so much water on the pitch?

It's the funniest outcome and one that everyone who isn't a Pool or City should want.

I want Villareal to win the whole thing but tbh the idea of Ancelotti smoking a cigar on the sideline and winning the CL on pure vibes with Benzema is very funny.

Pau Torres seems like a bit of a Lindelof clone to me. I don't see it with him. Comes across as a bit feeble.

Dunno, they beat PSV, Chelsea and Real. Bayern, Liverpool and City is surely more impressive?
Porto CL win is the most impressive however if Villarreal manage to win it then easily Villarreal out due their feat

Its not even the manager. The players are good players and underrated. Capoue, Coquelin and Lo Celso are very good players.

In fairness, Emery is massively underrated at least in England I feel. The press got on his back over his accent very early on and Arsenal seemed to be in a period of chaos behind the scenes, bloating the backroom staff with guff, while doing very little to invest in key areas of the squad.

If they beat Real (the biggest enemy in Spain) in the final then it’s movie worthy
We're not their biggest rival though. Valencia is. And they dislike barcelona more than us too
Now imagine in past editions, "if Liverpool score one, Villarreal need two to go through".

Not more of that shit, do you know what I mean? And to think I was radically against this change of rules.
Second leg at home is a massive advantage now

liverpool look a bit better since the break.

Hoping for an all Spanish final :D

Emery hoping to do a Jose and win the Europa and CL in consecutive seasons:lol:

Liverpool have like one or two tricks and they are very good at them but it's so one dimensional, one ball over the top for runners or cross from Trent.

Yeah, precisely.
