Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

You can't afford to defend badly against this Liverpool side. I think Madrid will deal with them much better than this Roma side.

Roma has to be one of the worst teams to make the semi finals of this competition. Fecking lucky scouse cnuts
Barca losing to Roma is worse than us v Sevilla IMO.
The gap in talent was larger and after a 4-1 first leg win?

They should just starting launching long ball forward towards Dzeko at every opportunity they can’t handle him.

Honestly it's just hilarious that 2 teams that are so mediocre in their League can possibly become Champions of Europe. No matter how this ends, the team that wins the trophy aren't even the best team in their Country.
It ends up as a cup competition and anyone can win a cup competition.

Every time Liverpool conceded a goal, they just get thrashed. Trust me.

This really is the weirdest two legs of football I've seen in a while. What a bizarre own goal.

Remember what Liverpool did to city, apparently the best team ever in Premier league. It's just Liverpool front 3 is simply stunning

Only way to play against this Pool team is to stifle them like Jose did.

Shit goal.

But a goal it was.

Now back to 75 mins for the original task of 3 goals

do other teams concede goals like this? It's comedy central ffs

I don't think anyone is still keen after watching Roma in first leg. Runs like he's got horse carriage tied to him. Maybe the opposite of pace. And not that strong shielding the ball either, despite his apparent physicality. A Caf myth exposed.

Thank goodness for that, too. He had one really good season but he's been coasting off the aftereffects of it ever since.

Bayern missing that final pass/touch all game. Lewy and Ribery specifically couldn't get that last touch/pass/shot in either game.

Ultimately two boneheaded errors are why they're sent home though. Some incredible lack of concentration.

Navas has exceptional positional ability (at least in this game).
Yeah, that's such a mismatch. Then you factor in Isco and Ronaldo against that defense and also the fact that it's Klopp and Liverpool vs. Real Madrid and it's funny how people are getting so worried. It's the biggest mismatch in a final since god knows when.

I can think of way bigger mismatches than this one. Real have been very fortunate but then again if you're as good as they are luck is more likely to be on your side, I can see Liverpool wiping the floor with them though, they haven't impressed me at all going all the way back to the group stage were they were thoroughly outplayed by Spurs over two games.

Merely giving false hope.

It's as they were, with 15mins down!
