Champions League - Round of 16 - 2nd Legs 5/6/12/13 March

Ladies and gentlemen, Diogo costa. Can’t pass for shit, can’t stop for shit. Even if we sell Onana, just stay away.

Great pens by Arsenal to be fair. Raya was brilliant, saving two and almost saving another one.

Every time I think Arsenal winning the league would be the lesser of all evils - I see them smiling and happy and I'm not so sure any more

Slightly impressed at how professional Arsenal were in that shootout. I expected them to feck it up.

What are these cnuts angry about ?

Porto are fecking brutal. Even the pateticos at their most anti-football had more sense of fair play

Scrapping past Porto in a penalty shootout and yet Arsenal fans will tell you they can win this competition.
Which imaginary Arsenal fans are these?

We're sh1t in CL, I'd be surprised if we make it to the semis.

Every club has deluded fans, just check the predictions thread here before the season started.

Fk me aren't Porto the biggest cnuts in world football? Such a strange anti football team.

How do Arsenal manage to annoy the opposition so bad? Even the manager was having a go at Arteta.

Usually it's the teams that win loads, but clearly not the case here so I wonder is there constant antics going on on the touchline?

That'll boost their confidence.
Meh.

They couldn't beat the 3rd place Portuguese side, played an extra 30 mins and looked tired, and now have more fixtures to contend with. I don't see a penalty shootout win in a tie they were meant to win comfortably having any positive bearing on their title challenge.

It would have been disappointing for them to go out tonight but being the only team without European distraction may have given them some small edge in the title chase.

Yes it all stems from Arteta.

Has Raya had surgery on his nose or something? Or broken it maybe. It doesn’t fit the rest of his face.

Shame it's on such an unlikable team that we need to defeat pool and city. The blessing is that even if they win it id bet money on them not winning another in the next decade. It would be a freak win, that's why id get over them doing it

Yeah my loathing for them is pretty strong, definitely right up there with City and Liverpool. Wasn't helped by living in London for more than 20 years and being surrounded by their smug fecking fans.

Nah, I think making the QF of the CL is definitely a net positive.

If he can't hack it in Serie a then what is the right move....dutch league, MLS...korea?
European semifinal appearances in the last 4 seasons:
England 11; Italy 8; Spain 7; Germany 5; France 4; Holland 2; Scotland, Switzerland, Ukraine 1.

Serie A certainly gotta be one of the crappiest leagues in Europe.

Italian fans feel similarly about any other team but Juve. Inter fans would rather Juve won another scudetto than Roma.

City winning doesn't even really count - Arsenal winnign another before us does

I got flashbacks to when they knocked us out with Mou and Carlos Alberto was buying free kicks like they were going out of fashion. Amazingly I ended up wanting Arsenal to win that, then I saw Arteta the little prick and regretted it.
