Champions League Round of 16 (18th Feb - 8th Aug)

Not sure why Atletico decided to open up in the middle so much right at the end, doesn’t make sense as they can’t hold on to the ball anyway.

I don't think it's a tactical thing, the players are exhausted by the looks of it.

Atletico are an absolute bag of shite. Absolutely no attacking threat at all. And that's with a £113 million striker!

Atletico's only chance of scoring tonight is via the penalty spot. You'd think they would pepper the goal considering they've got Adrian in between the sticks.

Shockingly defensive tactics

Yet they allowed like 15 good chances for Liverpool to score. If you are defensive, don’t allow easy chances at least.

Atletico are being raped now performance-wise :(

That's true but his 04/05 and 05/06 Chelsea sides could attack with flair. They weren't as super boring as revisionist history makes out.

I know his teams used to be positive in their style of play. I was referring to his style of play since his time at Man United.

Tragic that they are playing against Adrian and only had like 1 shot on target.

Worse performance I have ever seen in a CL knockout tie and that includes Roma against us.

Watching a Liverpool game with McManaman co-commentating is like being forced to watch Toy Story with your younger brother where he won't stop yapping on about how awesome Buzz Lightyear is.

Felix looking knackered after 90 minutes as TAA charges back in like it’s the first minute...

Not one yellow card for this Liverpoo team.
Unbelievable!
