Champions League Round of 16 (16th Feb - 17th Mar)

Casemiro should be off. If that was an Atalanta player..

I'd say it's a pen, but the way he pretends to be lifted of deserves this outcome. He flopped so hard he injured himself.

Was that a penalty or does it still count as a regular block? Hofman catches Cancelo off-balance, who then (sort of) shoves him away.

Gah I don't want to see Real win anymore CL's.

I’m just not convinced by Madrid or Zidane. But they keep getting lucky breaks. A good team like Bayern would smash them.

Have to say Zakaria had some fine moments, really hope he's Fernandinho's replacement. Would add pace and energy to City's centre-midfield.

Real are too bad this season to win it but even if they weren’t, who cares if they have 13 or 15 titles. It was funny in all those years they were chasing the Decima but failing in the first knock out round something like six years running, but with their 13 cups now no club is going to catch them anyway.

I'd take bayern without Lewandowski and Muller honestly

Might have favored Atalanta in the return had the score stayed 0-0. That red card killed the game, was shaping up to be exciting before that.

Truly two horrendously boring matches. R16 has really been shit.

You have enough players in midfield that are good on the ball don't be bloody greedy

This 0-1 is not terribly bad for Atalanta, given their circumstances tonight.

Second leg should be more interesting if it's 11 vs 11 and Madrid recover a great part of their 9 injured players today. I did like Atalanta very much until the red card and it was painful to see Madrid with Arribas, Hugo Duro, Mariano Diaz and the likes.

Yep, Madrid will be better for sure and Atalanta will just go berserk, with nothing much to lose.

Nobody will ever send off Casemiro. He's too awesome for that
