Champions League Round of 16 (15th Feb - 16th Mar)

Going to be really interesting to see what Elliot can do out there. Big vote of confidence from Klopp to start him. 18 year's old starting in midfield against inter in a cl knockout tie when everyone is fit to play.
Makes me think that we’ll see some rotation for Norwich. Diaz, Keita, maybe Tsimikas and probably Henderson. Maybe Fabinho gets a rest for that one.

How do City play the same 11 for the 345th time in a row without getting a single injury?!
Bit late to the party but they were without Grealish, Gabriel Jesus, Steffan (back up keeper), Walker ((suspended) and Palmer (our best youth player) hence a handful of kids on the bench.

Proper Liverpool wankfest on BT sport tonight. Quadruple has been mentioned a couple of times already.

Curiosly:
Liverpool in the Premier League
Position- 2
Points- 54
Games played- 24
Games won - 16
Draws - 6
Lost - 2

Inter in Serie A
Position-2
Points -54
Games played-24
Games won-16
Draws-6
Lost-2
But nowadays the gap between PL and Serie A is vast, I can see an easy win for Liverpool tonight. Only if Barella had been available and Liverpool had missed 3-4 regular starters at least then maybe we could have had a balanced match..

Liverpool reaching cup finals still invokes a nostalgic giddiness in a lot of the older pundits. They may have been a top side for a while now but them being near the top of the league and in a domestic cup final at the same time probably hasn’t happened for over 30 years. They’re aiming to win their 2nd domestic cup in 16 years. But they’re a genuinely top side so you can see how said giddiness turns into quadruple chat etc.

Yeah, they always talk about Quadruples. It's nothing new.

Ref is not giving cheap free kick to Liverpool. There is hope.

This Bayern lineup is almost disrespectful to Salzburg
3 CBs Gnabry and Coman as wing backs with Tolliso who likes to go forward.

Why not bench Gnabry or Coman for a real fullback like Omar Richards

Pool look far superior to Inter in the early part. I’d expect them to come through this fairly comfortably

Bayern just mocking it with that lineup. Kimmich is the complete midfielder, not sure there are many who can touch him or Verratti as far as CDM go.

Bayern are different in Europe but from seeing them overall this season I feel there behind City and PSG.
I know it’s weird to say since they went 6 out of 6 in the group scoring loads

It's so nice getting to watch Adeyemi, Sülinho and the half dozen other Salzburg players that were linked with Dortmund all in the same match.

Yeah the Caf said he would ruin Rashford and Martial development yet here we are 4 years later and one is on loan and the other has been poor for a while
What's more is that Perisic was part of Bayern Treble winning team, Inter stopping Juventus dominance, Croatia World Cup finalist during that time. And still starting for Inter at high level.

Bayern straight up looking like us for the first half hour.
