Champions League Round of 16 (13th Feb - 14th Mar)

Basel looked lretty good in the group stages. I might even have a post somewhere saying they might eliminate City:lol:

City are fecking good. Fair fecks to them. All that nandrolone.

Keep in mind when we played against them they were in the worst moment of the season, but after that they went to Napoli and won there, they have more experience at this level than Spurs, remake of the semi they had with Monaco 2 years ago.

It was a tactical masterpiece by the Catedrático... not. We were lucky/had merit to score first to prevent Juventus setting up the way they like.

What a chance. Spurs are still in this tie.

City are going to win everything this season

Machine like.

Looks City is in warmup mode to the quarters.

Juventus doesn’t look like a team with 1 goal against in their last 16 games or so.

Spurs actually the better team, an away goal will turn this tie.

Kane isn't nearly as clinical as people make out. Great player but wastes a ton of chances.

Maybe Buffon is the immortal Jew? He doesn't seem to age.

Nobody is saying they didn't do well to top their group. But it's the group. Means feck all as long as you qualify. Teams play with a much greater intensity in the knockout rounds.

Also how have spurs been better in open play? Juve dominated the open 10 minutes and deservedly got the lead. Spurs had nothing. They look second best at everything so far.

Nah they've dominated possesion in the first 20 mins and conceded to two very poor defensive mistakes.
