Champions League Quarter Finals | Chelsea vs Real (Tue) | Bayern vs City (Wed)

Goal summed up the tie. Bayern aren't clinical and City have Haaland against a dogshit Upamecano.

Bayern not being able to score has little to do with City's owners

Having about 500 million on your bench and everyone in your team worth 50+ million helps. Nobody is going to compete with that and the only team that will be Newcastle

Being a United fan recently is basically supporting Madrid in the Champions League and City in the Premier League.

We would beat Bayern. Simply because Rashford would score 5 against that muppet.

Of course you can in specific games. City still hasn't won the CL. In the long run, you're right, it's impossible to fight against that kinda money if it's spent well which isn't always the case tbh.

You don't need 1 billion to build a team that doesn't include Choupo Motting, Sane and Pavard in your starting XI.

2 leg tie against this City side is difficult even for Madrid. If it was one off final then I would be more confident.

City are in the form of their life at the moment.

Tuchel must be about 80% of the way to the sack just for keeping Upamecano on the pitch for all of the two legs so far.

Absolutely dreadful by Upamecano and over both legs as well. However, people calling him shit and useless need to have a word with themselves
Unless its the slight bad language you dont like, Im not sure I see much of a difference. He really has been a shocker 2 legs in a row

Left to Real Madrid to stop soulless City from winning the CL. Perhaps "football heritage" will play it's part? or Pep will over think things again.

Same as in first game. Sane and Upamecano. One was missing a chances and other was gifting a goal.

I call that bs.

Real and Barca can still attract the best talent, Haaland himself said he wants to play in other leagues.

Bayern is getting knocked out cause they don't have a proper striker, that has nothing to do with Abu Dhabi.

I don’t believe Bayern can’t score against city in a 2 legged tie but forest can score 1 in 1 game

I’d like to see Milan go all the way, then again I also want to see Lukaku lose in the final. Hmm.

Upamecano is one own goal away from a royal flush of calamitous defending over these two legs.

I’ve been watching too much Kroos and Modric  Can’t help but be annoyed by the passing and decision making in midfield, like Goretzka receives a good ball from Kimmich but kills momentum by playing it back instead of turning and moving.

He's easily their best defender this season, putting him on the bench after one (terrible) game isn't that easy a call.

I won't watch Bayern when Upanecano plays. Feeling very repulsive right now. His deer like mentality, just the most anti-Bayern element on the pitch. Needs to go in summer.
It was hilarious when Maguire was pulling these off, though.

This Bayern team are gash.

Would be a mid table team in the PL.

This game could be played for another 2 hours and they wouldn't score.

Worth remembering City have had to become institutionally corrupt and engage in money laundering to become successful. Makes a mockery of games like this as their results count for nothing now they have been exposed as the frauds we knew they were.

The poster above you claimed Upamecano has been your best defender this season.

Is that not the case?

What would be correct wording? "Bad and not so useful?"
Ooops, can you say that someone is bad these days? Maybe "not so good" would be correct?

I guess we don't have any tactical variants under Tuchel so far? All subs for the same position across these two legs.
