Champions League Quarter Finals | Chelsea vs Real (Tue) | Bayern vs City (Wed)

Setting up with one striker (who's actually a midfielder) and no wingers, when 2-0 down at home, is one of the worst tactical moves I have ever seen. Embarrassing surrender from Lampard.

Camavinga is honestly a proper classy LB
Really bad positionally, but otherwise sure. He's class on the ball, but Carlo needs to stop adapting him there. Can't play him on the left against City

They are smoking crack over there now
4-0 down on aggregate and I’m waiting for McManaman to say:

‘Theres 10 to go, if Chelsea can get one back, you just never know, once this crowd get going magic can happen’

My mind is still blown that Chelsea tried Lampard once, saw it fail, and then went back for seconds. It's amazing.

They're going to try and convince people it was close when they get back to the studio, just wait.

I’ve said it before, but I have no clue why Fat Frank signed up for this.

A successful few months here were probably his only chance of managing a top club ever again tbh. I guess it was worth it from his perspective.

Don’t think we will see him at top half team ever again now.

City will be setting up with the half-back style as well, seems he's doing a bit of the same? Does well adapting and coming into midfield.

Lampard with 4 losses to start haha, joke of a manager that should have never got a top job again after Everton.
Just confirms that the circus is in town. The most bizarre appointment I can think of given he’s a serial managerial disaster

That settles it, then. City will crush the pensioners from Real Madrid in the Final.

I not nearly watch enough football to know these guys well but in a matter of minutes both showed class on the ball. That Felix run was fantastic u til he had a lack of options and Mudryk played through 2 defenders with 2 touches Before blasting over.
That looks like quality to me

It's not a matter of motivation when the coach decides that playing with 7 midfielders is a good idea to overcome a 0-2 deficit.
I mean Lampard is a garbage coach and today even an in form quality team would have trouble overturning a 2 goal deficit. But generally speaking, Chelsea are garbage this season for the same reason United was last season. Just like when we lost to atletico our season ended, it will be tough for Chelsea to beat anybody by the end of this season.

The ironic thing about tonight is we beat Milan 5 0 over two games this season. Long time ago.

Penny for Auba thoughts now?
