Champions League Quarter Finals (5th - 13th Apr)

Tuchel set Chelsea up brilliantly but his subs have let him down.

Ancelotto on the other hand - the changes he's made have made all the difference.

Ziyech is crap, such poor decision making. Why would you shoot from there.

Havertz only seems to touch the ball once every 30 minutes.

He is getting confidence (too much) retaining the ball, trying dribblings where he shouldn't
Too used to rely on his pace and strenght. That's fine in Spain, but not in Europe
Lost the ball to Kroos that could have led to a goal. Lost the ball on your first goal miscommunication with RLC that led to your 2nd goal, that's a lot of mistakes for one game.
Those things can happen. He was the main reason they've able to pin us back though. Every loose and second ball were his. Everytime we could mount an attack he was there nicking the ball

Oh, you don't get chances like that at the end, Jorginho...

This is a bit of a downer, Real have been crap all game long. Would've much rather have seen City Vs Chelsea.

They've left some chances behind them here. Will be a few lads struggling to get to sleep replaying them in their heads tonight.

But that is the main problem: Pavard and Hernandez/Davies are NOT centre-backs.

Upamecano has been disappointing, but Bayern should not have problems in fielding other options at the back if they have CBs.

Pavard and Hernandez are definitely center backs. Both were signed as such by Bayern. The fact that they can also play as defensive full backs doesn't change that.

I am convinced more than ever that Real is the favorite team of football gods

We're really going to see City Vs Liverpool in the final. What a shit timeline.
