Champions League Quarter Finals (5th - 13th Apr)

Modric is legitimately one of the greatest midfielders ever. Same level as Xavi and Iniesta.

The 4 peat Real team doesn't get enough respect enough imo. As good as the 2010 barca team, they had to face far better teams in Europe.

The state of Real’s back line now. Good luck Alaba.

Context matters of course. Technique applied during a high pressure situation cannot be compared with a meaningless game
It's far more important to do it in an important game of course, but it's just not an assist you see a lot, which is why I'm surprised to see it two games in a row like that. If you can't appreciate good technique because of the context of the game, you're missing out.

It's a genuine question. Even at our best, I don't remember us putting in a performance against a big European team like this. This has been some performance from Chelsea.
Juventus ‘99? Milan ‘07? Barcelona ‘08? Just off the top of my head.

The engine on Modric as well. 87 minutes in and the way he sprinted back after losing possession up top there!

I don't begrudge them their success at all but you know damn well Villarreal will feck up against Liverpool if they do get through.

Hate to say it but none of these teams are beating Liverpool. The cnuts are going to win their 7th.

Rudiger is a bit too hype right now, man looks to be running on full emotions right now.

yes... down with the Lederhosen!!!!

You must have amnesia in that case. Or just haven’t watched much United

I want the team most likely to beat Citeh to go through. At the mome that looks like Chelski.

There were people on here saying Villarreal were a small rubbish team last year. We should have won that final but Emery is a smart manager.
