Champions League Quarter Finals (3rd - 11th April)

Dybala disappointing today. Higuain's general play has been decent on the other hand.

Mostly watching Sevilla now but has the officiating been that bad from Cakir?
Not really. Maybe Kroos should have seen yellow, otherwise he's been pretty much spot on

Cracking first half. Didn't even notice the time go by. Both teams look so fast and efficient, we never seem to look like that except in patches at times.

We were better in the game now. It seems that Vidal's knee problem had a pronounced impact on our stability in midfield.

Ref got that right with Dybala but my god I fecking hate this ref so much. No idea how he still gets high profile matches.

You think Betancur's tackle on Casemiro was a yellow card?
Yes and so was Kroos's ob khedira. Difference was kroos gets the ball first, and the play goes on due to advantage which is why he wasn't booked imho

How the hell is the score still 1-0. Tuned in at the 5th minute, and since then, except for the Kroos shot, RM have done feck all. Hope Juve can go through this round. Tired of seeing RM winning over and over again.

Juve have been the better team by far.

Madrid need another man in midfield, Benzema for Asensio or Lucas would make sense

Poor finishing from Juve. Higuain and Chiellini both missed sitters. You can't do that against RM. If you get a chance you need to take it.

If that's a handball, then every handball should be called, ever. Come on

It should have been given just because Casemiro is a horrible fat cnut with the world's 2nd most punchable face (first being Roberto Firmino, of course).

But in all seriousness, yeah, no way it was a handball.

The commentators were saying how effective Chiellini is in the box, and then he goes and does that!

Well they certainly got schooled by Spurs in the group stages?
Group stages dont mean shit as long as you qualify. Teams like Barca, Bayern, Madrid have all had losses to much worse teams in those games over the years as they didn't matter too much, so long as you get through.

They are better and we are too much too often second best on the ball, a bit discouraged maybe after the early goal. I hope we can stay in the tie this second half, let’s see if have enough in the tank or another collapse like in Cardiff.

The definition of handball is very much up in the air and I hate it. But, I think this season it has gone too far. They rarely call handballs.

If I were the referee, I would have called it. But Cakir has been terrible in terms of handballs this season. He didn't give a blatant handball in Istanbul derby. That's why I posted it.

Well, judging Spur's performance against Real Madrid and Juventus, Spurs have been a better team. But it's Spurs.

Yeah, that's probably the most impressive I've ever seen Spurs. I'd definitely fancy Real over Spurs in a knockout round.
