Champions League Quarter Finals (3rd - 11th April)

Do you think we could get something like that at Utd

We played nearly a similar formation like this in the second half against City. Sanchez moved up top as a striker with Lukaku and Lingard behind.

I like the diamond. It's great to watch but we'll need 2 beasts of full backs as they'll be the ones responsible for the width. Madrid have Carvajal and Marcelo, the 2 best fullbacks in world in their position. Marcelo literally plays as a winger these days.

Pjanic protesting and Carvajal gets yellow, but Benatia haven't got one.

So I've noticed!

Think if we get the progressive full backs, we will emulate that. Jose had 2 great FBs at Chelsea didn't he?

Liverpool supporter here (respectfully on the United site.. and because its a good site) - but not for you pal. If you think Firmino is poor, you're there for the taking. Fool. (Matip is out for the rest of the season).
Did i say he sucked as a player? I didn't and i don't feel so. Not the point.
Point is, his tally w/Hoffe against Bayern: 8 matches, 6 losses 2 draws. 5:21 goals. He'll see the red shirts with the Bayern crest and switch to "ah, a loss with less than 5 goals diff is a good result" mode :D

In Mourinho's last Chelsea team Ivanovic was a very offensive fullback and an important player in their formation, that was before his downhill for sure.

Michael Oliver is so far out of his league. It's am embarrassment we're sending someone so inept from the premier league.

Can't resist the feeling that Juve are delaying the inevitable at the moment.
