Champions League Quarter Finals (3rd - 11th April)

Messi will do what Messi does.

Anyone but Liverpool for the Champions League. Please Jesus please.

Roma didnt deserve the 4-1 loss either. They have been better over the 2 legs so far. Hope they hold on.

Since 2012, Pep has consistently underperformed in the Champions League at the helm of some incredibly powerful sides.

Is it fair to say that 2009-11 Barca team was just freakishly good and would have won the treble with any decent manager?

I think it was just that nobody had discovered yet how to counter him that and that you need extremely good sides to counter him. Football has evolved since then though and he just isn’t as outstanding as he used to be.

Roma must be good if they can dominate Barcelona like this. Liverpool will struggle if they get Roma. Anyone will struggle against Roma. What a shock if it stays like this though.

People were laughing when I said Barca would get slaughtered by either scousers or city. They play at a walking pace and careless in possession.

There's no way City have not deserved the league. I'm all for bashing City but they've been near perfect in the league. No shame in not being able to keep you with their league form.

Of course they deserve it this year as they have amassed by far the most points. What I do query is the argument that they are some freakishly good side like peak Barcelona with whom it is not possible to compete. Liverpool, Spurs and certainly United should all be aiming for the title next year.

Madrid winning the CL again?

Messi doing his best to end the GOAT discussion.

I'm watching the Roma game with Spanish commentary. The commentators are making that game even more interesting
